Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein eigenartiger Verschluss für Koffer, Reisetaschen u. dgl. Das Wesen. der Erfindung besteht darin, dass die Tasche u. s. w. mit zwei zusammenschliessbaren Doppelhenkeln versehen wird, deren Gelenke eine gemeinsame Drehachse haben und als Greifvorrichtung ausgebildet sind, welche die beiden Bügelhälften zusammenhält, wenn letztere zusammengeklappt sind, und die das Öffnen bezw. Verschliessen des Koffers u. s. w. nur bei ganz bestimmter Henkellage gestattet. Durch das Zusammenschliessen der beiden Henkel wird bezweckt, das Öffnen des Koffers u. s. w. auch dann zu verhindern, wenn sich die Greifvorrichtung in ihrer Offenlage befindet. Die beiden zusammen- schliessbaren Henkel können noch mittels Schlüssels gegen unbefugtes Öffnen gesichert werden.
Auf der Zeichnung ist der neue Verschluss dargestellt, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht der geschlossenen Tasche, teilweise im Schnitt, Fig. 2 eine obere Ansicht des geöffneten Bügels, Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach der Linie A-B in Fig. 2.

Werden alsdann die beiden Henkel zusammengeklappt, so dreht sich die Hülse f und ihr voller Teil legt sich gegen den Zapfen d, so dass dieser die Hülse nicht mehr vorlassen kann.
Natürlich können die Gelenke anstatt zu der beschriebenen Greifvorrichtung mit Bajonettverschluss auch zu einer Greifvorrichtung anderer Art, die sich beim Drehen der Henkel öffnet und schliesst, ausgebildet werden.
Um nun die Henkel a und al fest zusammenzuhalten und so zu bewirken, dass das Öffnen des Koffers u. s. w. auch bei Offenlage der Greifvorrichtung also bei seitwiirts gedrehtem Henkel verhindert werde, werden sie oben mit einem Drückerschtoss 11 versehen, welches beim Zusammenklappen derselben einschnappt. Die so zusammenschliessbaren Henkel a und al können mit einem bei i einzuführenden Schlüssel gegen unbefugtes Öffnen weiter gesichert werden.
