Polsterung für das Geschirr von Zugtieren
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Polster für das Geschirr von Zugtieren, insbesondere die Polsterung zwischen dem Kummet und der Halspartie eines Zugtieres, also das sogenannte Kiss. Beim Kummetgeschirr erfolgt das Ziehen durch das um den Hals des Zugtieres gelegte Kummet.
Zwischen Kummet und der Haut des Tieres ist das sogenannte Kiss vorgesehen. Dies ist in der bekannten Form eine Polsterung bestehend aus einem Leinenüberzug, der mit Rosshaar gefüllt ist. Das bekannte Kiss hat vor allem den Nachteil, dass es zu unnachgiebig und hart ist, so dass sich immer besondere Druckstellen ergeben, die die Haut des Zugtieres wundscheuern und dem Tiere, besonders beim Ziehen, Schmerzen verursachen.
Ausserdem bringen wundgescheuerte Stellen in der Haut des Tieres stets die Gefahr von Eiterungen, Infektionen und somit schwere Erkrankungen mit sich. Um die genannten Nachteile zu verhindern, ist gemäss der Erfindung die Polsterung in Form wellenförmiger Polsterteile aus Schwammgummi ausgebildet, die nur bei Belastung voll an der Haut des Zugtieres anliegen, sonst aber zwischen der Polsterung und der Haut Zwischenräume für einen günstigen Luftzutritt freilassen.
Dieser Vorteil wird bei genau angepassten Polsterungen-diese Anpassung kann ähnlich durchgeführt werden, wie bei der Herstellung genau passender orthopädischer Einlagen-noch entsprechend gesteigert.
Weiterhin ist es besonders vorteilhaft, die Polsterung aus Schwammgummi so auszubilden, dass sie im Schnitt wie Wellblech oder Wellpappe aussieht. Die Polsterung besteht dann aus einem einzigen durchlaufenden Wellenzug, oder aus Wellenzügen, die übereinander angeordnet sind und durch ebene Flächen voneinander getrennt sind. In unbelastetem Zustande sind auf diese Weise Zwischenräume vorhanden, die ein Verdunsten des Schweisses und ein Durchströmen der Luft, über die Wirkungen infolge der Poren des Schwammgummis hinaus, besonders begünstigen.
Auch liegt diese Polsterung nicht dauernd an, die einzelnen Hautpartien haben jeweils Zeit sich zu erholen und auszuruhen, was die Bildung wunder Druckstellen weiterhin verhindert.
Hinsichtlich des Werkstoffes ist zu sagen, dass Schwammgummi grosse Lebensdauer besitzt und dass ferner bei Verwendung der Polsterung nach der Erfindung Leinen und Rosshaar für andere Verwendungszwecke, für die diese Werkstoffe unersetzbar sind, gespart werden können.
Selbstverständlich ist der Gegenstand der Erfindung nicht nur für Polsterungen des Kummets, sondern auch für Selletpolster als Polsterung des Stirnjoches für Zugochsen u. dgl. verwendbar.

In order to prevent the disadvantages mentioned, according to the invention the padding is designed in the form of wave-shaped padding parts made of sponge rubber, which only rest fully on the skin of the draft animal when under stress, but otherwise leave spaces between the padding and the skin for a favorable air inlet.
This advantage is increased accordingly in the case of precisely adapted upholstery - this adaptation can be carried out in a similar way to the production of precisely fitting orthopedic insoles.
Furthermore, it is particularly advantageous to make the padding from sponge rubber so that it looks like corrugated iron or corrugated cardboard in section. The padding then consists of a single continuous wave train, or wave trains that are arranged one above the other and separated from one another by flat surfaces. In this way, in an unloaded state, there are spaces which particularly favor the evaporation of sweat and the air flowing through, beyond the effects of the pores of the sponge rubber.

With regard to the material, it should be said that sponge rubber has a long service life and that, furthermore, when using the padding according to the invention, linen and horsehair can be saved for other uses for which these materials are irreplaceable.
