EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

EMI1.1
An older proposal by the patent owner relates to a method and devices for producing thin-walled plates or the like from hardening molded material, consisting in that the molded material is subjected to a compacting vibrating action before and during the deformation. This is done by a vibrating device that can be directly or indirectly connected or connected to the mold or one of its parts, which at the same time carries vibrating elements which are arranged in the molded product filling device assigned to the mold. A special embodiment of the device mentioned provides the arrangement of a two-part mold, wherein the one mold part by the on a conveyor, for. B.
Conveyor belt or chain hoist between its transverse webs, so-called drivers, optionally shaped support plates, the other molded part formed by a molded or profile plate and, for example, the latter with the

towards the end slightly bent and with this end wipes off the excess molding material from the support plate pushed under it by the conveyor belt.
It has now been shown that a significant improvement in terms of the density and evenness of the molding can be achieved if, according to the invention, an optionally profiled press roller is connected upstream of the mold or profile plate arranged above the conveying means or above the support plates mounted on the latter The molding material removed from the bunker is first rolled onto the base plate. The vibrating device is on or in the roller. built in, the former gives a shaking movement, whereby the molded product is pressed absolutely perfectly in the desired shape and the following mold or profile plate only needs to take over the completion of the molding by further homogenizing its structure and surface.
An embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated in the drawing, u. Between Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the entire device and Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal section through the press roller alone.
The device initially has a conveyor 27, for. B. a conveyor belt or a chain hoist, which od in any way, for example on slide rails 21. Like. Is guided and at appropriate intervals drivers, z. B.
Transverse strips 38, between which the base plates 28 come to lie and are thus held in relation to their longitudinal direction. The support plates 28 are also guided in the region of the molding device between lateral longitudinal webs 23 attached to the frame of the device, which at the same time form the lateral delimitation for the briquettes 39 during their production.
The press roller 24 immediately downstream of the bunker 34 consists of a tube which is mounted on an axle 30 by means of ball bearings 29 or the like arranged in the end parts of the tube ends, which in turn rests in lateral bearings 31. The bearings 31 are each mounted on a sprung rail 33 or the like.
In the interior of the press roll 24 eccentric weights 35 are arranged on the axis 30. When the axis 30 is driven by means of the cable or V-belt pulley 36, the press roller therefore starts to oscillate or vibrate. This can develop as a result of the spring-loaded axle bearings 31 and is also communicated to the press roller shells 37 drawn onto the roller 24, profiled in the illustrated case, and thus indirectly also to the molded product and its base 28.
The press roller 24, 37 is the form or. Subordinate profile plate 26, which rests on the surface of the molding 39, the carrier 22 of which can be connected to vibrating loops 32 arranged in the molding material bunker 34. According to an embodiment according to the invention, which is not shown, the shaped or profile plate 26 is connected in a suitable manner to the press roller 24 and thereby receives a vibrating drive from the latter. The profile plate 26 only needs to have the correct weight or be cushioned.
It can optionally also be designed so that it is around the press roller 24 as an axis, for. B. by means of the roller comprehensive bracket can be folded up.
The transmission of the vibrating movement of the press roll 24 to the profile plate 26 is, as already noted, made possible by the spring-mounted mounting of the press roll 24. The on the
