Die Erfindung betrifft ein Hilfsgeschoss, insbesondere für pneumatische Schusswaffen oder pneumatische Übungseinriehtungen für Waffen und Geschütze aller Art, und hat den Zweck, das Hilfsgeschoss derart auszugestalten, dass damit seine oftmalige Verwendung gewährleistet wird.
Gemäss der Erfindung wird dieser Zweck dadurch erreicht, dass das Hilfsgeschoss an seiner Mantelfläche einen Dichtungsring aus Leder od. dgl. hat, der in den Geschosskörper auswechselbar eingesetzt ist und im Lauf den hinter dem Geschoss befindlichen Raum zur Vermeidung von Druckverlusten abdichtet. Zum Festhalten des Dichtungsringes und zur Vereinfachung seiner Auswechslung ist das Geschoss in weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung aus zwei oder mehreren miteinander verschraubbaren Mantelteilen gebildet, zwischen welchen der Dichtungsring auswechselbar eingeklemmt ist.
In der Zeichnung ist ein im Sinne der Erfindung ausgebildetes Hilfsgeschoss in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform im Längsschnitt dargestellt.
Das Hilfsgeschoss ist zweiteilig ausgebildet und wird der hintere Geschossteil 2 an den vorderen Geschossteil mittels der Schraube 4 befestigt, wobei eine zwischen den beiden Geschossteilen 1, 2 eingefügte Lederdichtung festgehalten wird, die den hinter dem Geschoss befindlichen Laufraum zur Vermeidung von Pressluftverlusten abdichtet. Der hintere Geschossteil 2 lässt sowohl einen Grossteil der ihm zugewendeten Fläche der Lederdichtung, 3 wie auch einen Spalt zwischen sich und der Laufbohrung frei, so dass die Lederdichtung 3 unter dem Druck der hinter dem Geschoss in den Laufraum eindringenden Druckluft an die Laufbohrung angepresst wird.
Zur Erhöhung der Abdichtung kann auch der vordere Geschossteil 1 mit einem Dichtungsring 5 versehen sein. An der Spitze des vorderen Geschossteiles 1 kann in einer Bohrung ein Zündsatz 6 mit einem rauchentwickelnden Stoff, beispielsweise Sehwefelsäureanhydrit, sitzen, der beim Aufschlagen des Hilfsgeschosses'entzündet wird und den Nebel erzeugt.
