   Die Weiterbehandlung der gerösteten Mischung auf Pulver erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise.   Ausführungsbeispiel : 2070 leg eines   von den Schalen befreiten Kakaosehrots werden mit 925 kg Spezialweizenmalz innig vermengt und mit Wasser von 65 C eingeweicht, in welchem auch der abgezogene Teil des Einweichwassers von einer früheren Charge enthalten ist. Die Menge des Wassers wird so gewählt, dass das Gemenge gut mit der Flüssigkeit bedeckt ist. Beim Mischen stellt sich die Temperatur auf 55  C und wird durch   2%   Stunden auf dieser Höhe erhalten. Nach dieser Zeit ist die   gewünschte   Dextrinierung des Malzes eingetreten. Nunmehr wird das Wasser, soweit es nicht von dem Gemenge aufgenommen ist, abgelassen. Dieser Teil wird für spätere Chargen aufbewahrt.

   Das gut abgetropfte Gemenge wird nun ohne weiteren Zusatz eines Präparationsmittels auf einem Kakaoröstapparat   fachgemäss   getrocknet und fertiggeröstet. Es ergeben sich 2950 kg gerösteten Gemisches, das weiter in der bekannten Weise auf Stahlwalzen vermahlen und hierauf abgepresst 2200   leg   fertigen Malzkakaos liefert,
Eine Verkostung des erhaltenen Malzkakaos ergibt, dass das Produkt etwas milder und neutraler schmeckt als der bekannte Maltinkakao. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines malzhältigen kakapoulvers durch Einweichung und Vermischung der Bestandteile, Ablassen des   überschüssigen   Weichwassers und   Rösten   der Mischung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Einweichen von Malz und Kakaoschrot gemeinsam nach vorhergehender Mischung der beiden Bestandteile erfolgt.
