Plug connection for measuring purposes.
The invention relates to a plug connection for measuring purposes, in particular for telecommunications systems, in which a tap provided with suitably designed contact elements is plugged into an operating or operational pair of conductors transversely to its axis and creates a junction for the measuring line.
A pair of conductors is understood here to mean any structure consisting of two separate conductors which allows such a plug to be plugged in transversely to that direction on bare surfaces running in approximately the same direction. This can e.g. B. be two parallel running bare wires. Incidentally, the connector can also be single-pole, three-pole or multi-pole with basically the same design. Above all, it is intended to be connected to the usual Fernmeldekabel- separating end closures that z. B. are used in the telecommunication cables of the postal administration to be plugged in such a way that it is clamped from the side to the outer surfaces of the plug sleeves of these terminations.
The measuring plug shown in the drawing as an exemplary embodiment contains, as contact elements, a pair of parallel flat contact tongues a, which are separated by a web of insulating material. e are the connector sleeves of a separating end closure d, seen from the front, of which only a section is indicated. The two-core measuring line e is inserted into the prismatic insulating body / plug and connected to the contact tongues a by means of the screws g. These resiliently encompass the Steekerhü belonging to a wire pair of the telecommunication cable! sen c and wedge them between each other.
The insulating material web b, which protrudes between the sleeves c when the plug is plugged in, is used to guide the plug during insertion. If the plug is plugged into a flexible conductor, the web b forms the abutment for the conductor to be clamped between it and the contact tongues. The contact tongues a are bent out at the points encompassing the sleeves c according to their shape. The tongue ends h are bent outwards. which makes it easier to plug in the connector. The tongues a can themselves consist of sufficiently resilient material or be supported by additional steel springs i or the like. The connector body / has such dimensions that there is space next to it that is attached to the adjacent receptacles of the end closure.
