   Bei den beschriebenen Herstellungsverfahren werden die Nadeln od. dgl. in genauer Lage zueinander durch die sägezahnartigen Teile der Form gehalten, während das Bakelit die Nadelenden umschliesst, so dass nach Beendigung des Formens die Nadeln od. dgl. sehr fest an ihrem Platz gehalten werden und regelmässig und gleichförmig aus dem Bakelitträger hervorstehen. 



   Jeder Träger kann mit zwei Bohrungen versehen sein, die es gestatten, den Träger durch Schrauben od. dgl. an der Tragbare usw. abnehmbar zu befestigen. 



   Der   Ausdruck Kunstmasse"umfasst   vor allem Kunstharze, im besonderen solche, die thermoplastisch sind, z. B. die   als"Bakelite"bekannten   Phenolharze. Die Verwendung ist jedoch nicht hierauf beschränkt, da auch andere bekannte organische Stoffe oder Verbindungen, die thermoplastisch sind und ein geringeres spezifisches Gewicht als die vorerwähnten Metallverbindungen haben und welche beim Formen unter Einwirkung von Wärme und Druck fest und hart werden und ihre Festigkeit und Härte unter normalen Arbeitsbedingungen bewahren, verwendet werden können. Solche thermoplastische Stoffe enthalten beispielsweise organische Cellulosederivate, wie Celluloseester und Celluloseazetat, weiters Vinylester, organische Derivate von Gummi, wie Ebonit und Vulkanit. 



   Je nach der geforderten Festigkeit und Leichtigkeit werden geeignete leichte Füllstoffe für die Formmasse gewählt, so beispielsweise Holzmehl. 



   Zum Halten der Nadeln in der gewünschten Lage während des Bildens des Trägers können an Stelle der Zahnungen, welche mit den Teilen der Form aus einem Stück bestehen, auch kleine Träger dienen, in welche die   Schäfte   der Nadeln eingelegt oder eingesetzt werden und die in die Form eingebracht und mit den Nadeln in das Bakelit eingebettet werden. Auch kann der Bakelitträger durch Einlagen verstärkt werden. Diese Verstärkungen können z. B. aus einem Gewebestreifen oder einem dünnen Stab aus Metall oder anderm Material bestehen, der gezahnt um die Schäfte herumgeht und mit ihnen in Berührung steht. 



   Die erfindungsgemässen Nadel-od. dgl. Sätze können solche Nadeln od. dgl. haben, die üblicher- weise in Wirk-und Raschelmaschinen u. dgl. verwendet werden. Die Schäfte der Nadeln od. dgl. können jedoch auch aufgerichtete Endvorsprünge haben, was dazu beiträgt, die Schäfte in der plastischen Masse noch mehr zu verankern.
