Ausführungsbeispiele : A. Zündmassen ohne Leim :

Embodiments: A. Ignition compounds without glue:
56 parts by weight of potassium chlorate, 2 parts by weight of manganese dioxide, 4 parts by weight of barite, 1 part by weight of potassium dichromate, 1 part by weight of rosin, 1 part by weight of sulfur, 8 parts by weight of glass with 27 parts by weight of binder solution of the above composition are homogenized in the usual way, then the ignition heads are attached to the previously prepared, paraffinized, if necessary colored shavings and then subjects the detonating heads to a heat treatment up to 85 ° C before they leave the collector carrier. The shavings can be made from wax, wool, cardboard or wooden ribbons or from strips peeled from wooden trunks. The same binding agent is used for friction surfaces.
B. Impregnation of matches and friction surfaces made with water-soluble binders: The heads are made with glue or Arabic gum in the usual way and, after dunking, the firing heads are subjected to a heat treatment of 30-400 ° C in this mass, whereupon the parts are still heated , but are already completely dry, then impregnation with diluted solution according to the instructions given, preferably by atomization, but also by dipping or painting. The final treatment takes place in a heat zone up to 85 C. In this way, the connection is better and the masses remain more securely bound when burned.
The same treatment also applies to the friction surface.
C. Protection of primers by impregnating the boxes and the friction surfaces. For safety reasons, the detonators made with the binder according to Example B are packed in any boxes when they are completely dry, and only then are the friction surface masses applied, which consist in a known manner of 50 parts by weight of red phosphorus, 35 parts by weight of sulfur antimony, 15 parts by weight of gum arabic and water .
After normal drying, the impregnation takes place as in Example B, before the boxes, which have already been printed or labeled as required, leave the collective support parts. With this design, there is no need to impregnate the ignition heads if the boxes glued with glue are protected against dissolution by coatings.
