Process for the production of positive inscriptions or characters from artificial stone u. like
The invention relates to a method for producing positive inscriptions or characters from artificial stone and. The invention consists in that plates made of rubber or the like, which are cut out according to the letters or characters to be formed, are placed or fixed on a smooth surface, whereupon the artificial stone mass or the like is poured over it. After the artificial stone mass has solidified, the smooth form base is removed and the rubber od easily removable due to its elasticity or elasticity. Like. Mold plates removed. The desired word appears in raised letters, which are more or less high depending on the thickness of the rubber sheets used.
By the method according to the invention, a positive artificial stone can therefore be used for slabs, stones and the like. like., e.g. B. tombstones, can be obtained in a simple manner without a previous negative.
You can make mold plates made of rubber od. The like. Each with a letter or character, which are placed next to each other to form the desired inscriptions on the mold base and poured with an artificial stone mass, with an appropriate supply of such mold plates quickly and easily artificial stone plates can be produced with the most varied of raised inscriptions or characters.
The subject matter of the invention is illustrated, for example, in the drawing. In Fig. 1 a mold plate is shown in plan view and in Fig. 2 in section along the line A-B. 3 and 4 illustrate a finished artificial stone slab in plan view and in section along the line A-B.
The mold plate 1 made of resilient material such as rubber and. Like., Is provided with a recess 2 corresponding to a letter or character. To put together the desired words, such shaped plates are temporarily fastened next to one another with appropriate recesses on a flat, highly polished surface and then the artificial stone mass is poured over them. After removing the form base and letter shapes, there is now an artificial stone board i (Fig. 3, 4) on which the letters 5 appear raised in a recess 4 corresponding to the rubber plate.
