Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Schraffiergerät, das auf zwei Rollen läuft und bei dem die Parallelverschiebung nach einem bestimmten Weg gehemmt wird. Die bekannten Schraffiergeräte dieser Art sind mit einem Zahnrad ausgestattet, welches mit den Rollen auf einer gemeinsamen Achse sitzt, und die Hemmung wurde durch das Einschnappen einer Klinke in die Zähne des Zahnrades erreicht. Derartige Schraffiergeräte haben den wesentlichen Nachteil, dass der Sehraffenabstand nicht beliebig eingestellt werden kann. Eine Änderung des Schraffenabstandes ist nur in bestimmten Stufen durch Austauschen der Zahnräder und Rollen möglich, was aber umständlich ist.
Erfindungsgemäss sollen diese Nachteile vermieden werden. Zu diesem Zwecke wird das Schraffier- gerät, bei dem die Parallelverschiebung nach einem bestimmten Weg gehemmt wird, mit einer Einstellvorrichtung versehen, die es ermöglicht, die Länge des Weges bis zum Eintritt der Hemmung beliebig zu verändern. Zu diesem Zwecke wird in weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung die Anordnung so getroffen, dass auf der Rollenachse ein drehbarer Ring sitzt, der zwischen zwei, mit dem Gerät fest verbundenen Anschlägen verdreht werden kann und durch eine Feder immer in die Ausgangslage zurückgezogen wird, und dass eine Kupplung vorgesehen ist, die eine Verbindung der Rollenachse mit dem drehbaren Ring ermöglicht. Bei der Bewegung des Schraffiergerätes sind die Rollenachse und der bewegliche Ring durch die Kupplung verbunden.
