Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf photographische Papiere, insbesondere auf Entwicklungspapiere, wie sie für das Kopieren von Porträt-, Landschafts-od. dgl.-negativen in verschiedenen Sorten und Packungen in den Handel gebracht werden.
Das wesentliche Kennzeichen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass diese Papiere nach Vorbelichtung durch ein Negativ in den Handel kommen, das lediglich einen Rahmen für das zu kopierende Bild darstellt.
Das derart lediglich in seinen Randzonen vorbelichtete Papier wird ein zweites Mal durch das Negativ des Porträts (der Landschaft od. dgl.) belichtet. Durch die darauffolgende Entwicklung entsteht sodann ein umrahmtes Bild.
Dabei wird man, um eine Überbelichtung der vorbelichteten Partien des Entwicklungspapiers zu vermeiden, den vorbelichteten Teil (den Bildrahmen) beim Einkopieren des Porträts-oder Landschaftsnegativs durch eine Maske aus dünnem schwarzen Papier abdecken, die dem Bild des Rahmens

Damit der Käufer einer Packung des erfindungsgemäss vorbelichteten Entwicklungspapiers ein für seinen Geschmack und dem speziellen Zweck angepasstes Rahmenmuster wählen kann, kann ein Positivdruck des zur Vorbelichtung verwendeten Negativs als Titelblatt der Packung verwendet und überdies auch beigepackt werden.
Es ist bei Rollfilmen oder Platten bekannt geworden, diese am Rande zu belichten, so dass diese Stellen nach der eigentlichen Aufnahme beim Entwickeln schwarz werden. Im Positiv ergibt dies einen gleichförmigen weissen Rand um das Bild herum. Durch dieses Verfahren wird kein Rahmen erhalten, der denselben Anforderungen entsprechen würde, wie sie an die mit Hilfe des vorliegenden Papiers erhaltbaren gestellt werden können.
Ein Abdecken dieses im Negativ schwarzen Rahmens durch eine besondere Maske ist natürlich nicht erforderlich.
Ferner sind Masken bekannt geworden, mit Hilfe welcher der Verbraucher selbst um ein Bild herum Umrahmungen herstellen kann. Diese Masken bestehen aus zwei Teilen, von welchen einer die Bildfläche abdeckt und die Umrahmungsfläche freigibt, während der andere die Bildfläche freigibt und die Umrahmungsfläche abdeckt.
