<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Fernsteuenmgsvorganges erfolgt.

Telecommunication and remote control equipment.
Telecommunication and remote control devices are known in which the transmission of measured values via the switching devices of the remote control system is also made possible.
In the case of these known devices, the arrangement has so far always been made in such a way that the remote control has, so to speak, priority over the remote measurement, while the remote measurement is only switched on when required. Furthermore, it is already known that the existing transmission channel is normally occupied by the telemetry device and is only switched to the remote control device during the transmission process if a remote control or feedback process is to be transmitted. In the device according to the invention, the transmission channel is switched over immediately and for the entire duration of a telecommunication or communication. Remote control operation.
The telemetry transmission can be one in which the measured value of the same is always
Encoder device is transmitted; however, a selectable telemetry transmission can also be permanently on this transmission channel.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. 1 is the transmission channel, which can be formed both by a physical conductor and by a high-frequency connection. 2 is the telemetry transmitter. 3 the remote measurement receiver. The telemetry transmitter 2 is shown here as a revolving pulse contact, such as is used, for example, for remote counting of electrical power. 4 is a normally closed contact that applies the pulse contact of the telemetry transmitter 2 to the power source 5. The power source 5 is connected to earth. At the receiving point for the measured variable, the receiver 3 is connected to the earth by a break contact 6.
At the receiving location there is also a relay 7, which is made to respond as a function of the remote control device 8, so that, for example, when a command is to be transmitted from the monitoring station, the relay 7 of this station is triggered, whereby the contact 6 opens and the contact 11 is closed. A relay 9 is now switched on in the circuit of the long-distance line 1 at the remote measuring location. The normally open contact 10 of this relay switches the remote control device 12 to the long-distance line 1, while the contact 4 is opened by the relay 9 either directly or via an intermediate relay.
This arrangement works as follows:
Normally, the telemetry equipment works u. zw. In such a way that remote measurement pulses are given from the pulse generator 2 via the trunk line 1 to the receiving relay 3 of the monitoring station. The normally closed contacts 4 and 6 are closed. The remote measurement transmission takes place, for example, according to the pulse frequency method with the basic frequency of the pulses when the measured value is zero. Any other pulse method with a high pulse density can also be used. The pulse density should be so great that the relay 9 is practically always supplied with current, i. H. that the relay 9 cannot drop out during the individual pulse pauses.
If a command is now to be given from the monitoring station, the relay 7 is made to respond by actuating a command switch and the remote measurement circuit at the contact 6 is thereby interrupted. The relay 9, which responds to the quiescent current, thereby drops out, opens the contact 4, whereby the remote measurement is completely disconnected, and closes the contact 10.
Simultaneously with the response of the relay 7, the contact 11 was also closed, so that now the remote control device via the contacts 11 and 10 and the trunk line 1 is active.

can occur. After completion or the acknowledgment of the transmission, the relay 7 falls again and the telemetry device is put back into operation. After the acknowledgment, contact 4 'is temporarily activated. In the present exemplary embodiment, the switchover to the remote control apparatus is made dependent on the measured value transmission or the basic current transmission of the telemetry device being interrupted for a certain time required for the transmission of the remote control commands.
Instead of a pulse frequency transmitter, another telemetry method can of course also be used in the subject matter of the invention, which occupies the transmission channel continuously or at least in rapid succession with a quiescent current, e.g. B. voltage or current intensity methods, which also take the measured value zero with a
Transfer basic current.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, the switchover from remote measurement to remote control or remote reporting is made dependent on actuation of the remote control device 8. For actuation from the encoder location of the measured values, i. H. When the transmitter of station 12 is stimulated, a relay corresponding to relay 9 and the associated contacts must also be provided in the other station, whereas a relay corresponding to relay 7 is to be provided at the location of pulse generator 2.
Several measured values can also be transmitted simultaneously via channel 1, in particular with the help of a distributor switch that rotates synchronously and in phase.
