  Geschosszünder. 



   Der Luftwiderstand eines Geschosses ist wesentlich von der Form der Geschossspitze abhängig. 



  Es ist nun üblich, dem Zünder eine Spitzkegelgestalt zu geben. Bei verschiedenen Zündern, insbesondere bei solchen, die ein deformierbares Nagelträgerblech besitzen, das beim Aufschlagen des Geschosses eingedrückt werden soll, hat der Zünder jedoch in diesem Falle vorne eine ebene Fläche, die den Luftwiderstand ungünstig beeinflusst. Gemäss der Erfindung wird der Zünderkörper so gestaltet, dass dessen annähernd ebene Endfläche einen vorstehenden Ringwulst von kleinerem Durchmesser als der die Stirnfläche abrundende   Zünderquerschnitt   hat. Dieser erzeugt eine wohl definierte Verdichtungswelle, die schirmförmig nicht nur über die übrigen Teile des Zünderkörpers, sondern auch über das Geschoss selbst hinausragt und dadurch dasselbe vor Luftreibung schützt. 



   Vergleichsversuche haben ergeben, dass die erfindungsgemässe Ausgestaltung des Zünders unter sonst gleichen Bedingungen eine wesentlich erhöhte Schussweite ergaben, die lediglich dem verringerten Luftwiderstand zuzuschreiben ist. 



   In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einem Ausführungsbeispiel schematisch dargestellt. 



   Der Zünderkörper 1 ist vorne durch eine ebene Fläche, z. B. das Nagelträgerblech 2 abgeschlossen. 



  Erfindungsgemäss ist diese Fläche von einem Ringwulst 3 umgeben, der die Fläche 2 überragt. Der Durchmesser dieses Wulstes ist kleiner als der die Stirnfläche abrundende Querschnitt bei F-F. Die durch diesen Wulst erzeugte Verdichtungswelle 4 greift   schirmförmig über   den Zünderkörper und den Geschossmantel.

According to the invention, the igniter body is designed in such a way that its approximately flat end face has a protruding annular bead of a smaller diameter than the igniter cross section which rounds off the end face. This creates a well-defined compression wave, which protrudes like an umbrella not only over the remaining parts of the detonator body, but also over the projectile itself and thus protects it from air friction.



   Comparative tests have shown that the design of the detonator according to the invention under otherwise identical conditions resulted in a significantly increased firing range, which is only attributable to the reduced air resistance.
