  Verfahren zur Reparatur von   Brüchen   und Dehnungen der Seile von   Seilreifenmänteln   für Fahrzeuge aller Art. 



   Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform durch die Fig. 1 bis 4 der Zeichnung dargestellt. Es zeigt die Fig. 1 einen Radialschnitt durch einen Seilreifen, die Fig. 2 eine schematische Darstellung durch den Querschnitt eines reparierten Seiles, die Fig. 3 einen Schnitt durch eine Bandage und die Fig. 4 im Schema die Aufwicklung des die Bandage bildenden metallischen Gewebes. 



   Im Mantel 1 sind Gewebe 2 eingebettet, die in geeigneter Weise die Seile 3 umfassen. Reisst oder dehnt sich nun ein Seil, so wird die verletzte Stelle desselben blossgelegt und um diese unter Zwischenlage von Kautschuk eine durch Falten hergestellte Manschette 4 aus Metallgewebe von vorzugsweise U-förmigem Profil herumgelegt und nach dem üblichen Vulkanisierverfahren zu einem Körper vulkanisiert. Das Verfahren zur Wiederherstellung des Profiles kann in einem o der mehreren Arbeitsgängen erfolgen. 



   Das Verfahren hat den Zweck, die Bruch-oder Dehnungsstellen dadurch zu vereinigen, dass die durch das Vulkanisieren auftretenden Haftspannungen auf das Metallgewebe übertragen werden.

   The subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment by FIGS. 1 to 4 of the drawing. 1 shows a radial section through a rope hoop, FIG. 2 shows a schematic representation through the cross section of a repaired rope, FIG. 3 shows a section through a bandage and FIG. 4 shows the winding of the metallic fabric forming the bandage .



   Fabrics 2 are embedded in the sheath 1 and encompass the ropes 3 in a suitable manner. If a rope breaks or stretches, the injured part of the rope is exposed and a cuff 4 made of metal fabric, preferably with a U-shaped profile, is wrapped around it with the interposition of rubber and vulcanized into a body using the usual vulcanization process. The procedure for restoring the profile can be carried out in one or more operations.



   The purpose of the method is to unite the points of fracture or expansion by transferring the adhesive stresses that occur as a result of vulcanization to the metal mesh.

PATENT CLAIM: Method for repairing breaks and elongations of the ropes of rope tire jackets for vehicles of all kinds, characterized in that a sleeve made of metal fabric by folding is vulcanized around the break or stretch point of the rope, for the purpose of taking over the load by means of the the adhesive tension that occurs during vulcanization to replace the stretched or broken rope.
