Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein rechts und links verwendbares Kastenschloss mit hebender Falle. Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass die Nuss eine vierkantige Durchlochung und die Falle einen kurzen vierkantigen Ansatz besitzt, der in der Durchlochung mittels einer Schraube befestigbar ist, so dass nach Lösen der Schraube die Falle um 180 gewendet und auf der andern Seite der Nuss wieder in der Vierkantlochung befestigt werden kann.

Die Falle C besitzt einen vierkantigen Ansatz Bi, der in einer vierkantigen Durchlochung Di der Nuss B mittels der Schraube D befestigt werden kann. Die Falle steht unter Einwirkung einer am Stift F befestigten Feder E. Um das Schloss von links nach rechts oder umgekehrt verwendbar zu machen. ist es nur erforderlich, bei geöffnetem Schlosskasten die Feder E und die Schraube D zu lösen, die Falle von der andern Seite in die Nussdurchlochung Di einzuführen und wieder mittels der Schraube D mit der Nuss zu verbinden, worauf die Nussfeder in der versetzten Lage Ei an dem Stift Fi und der gewendeten Falle zu befestigen ist.
