Laundry rammer operated by an electric motor.
The invention relates to a laundry rammer which is actuated by an electric motor and which is provided with an inner and an outer cover. Laundry rammers and wasehvorriehtungen which are driven by an electric motor by which the inner bell is moved are known. Opposite these devices sits in the Wäsehestampfer forming the subject of the invention the housing enclosing the motor with the gearbox on a tube carrying the outer bell at the lower end, which serves as a guide for the lifting rod for moving the inner bell; this preferably consists of a bell-shaped rubber membrane.
With this device according to the invention, the laundry rammer is considerably simplified because the connecting tube between the outer bell and the motor housing simultaneously serves as a handle for the user, as a support for the motor with the gear and as a guide for the lifting rod of the inner bell. Instead of the rubber membrane firmly connected to the outer bell at the outer edge, a freely movable inner bell can also be used or the inner bell can be fixed and the outer bell can be movable.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows a laundry rammer, partly in longitudinal section, in which the inner gasket is designed as an outer membrane. z a longitudinal section through the lower part of a laundry tamper with movable outer bell, in the lowest position of the same, FIG. 3 the same longitudinal section with the outer bell shown in the highest position, FIG. 4 a longitudinal section through the
Lower part of a laundry tamper with a movable inner cover.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a connecting tube 1 is connected to the outer bell 2, to the upper end of which the housing 8 made of insulating material for receiving the electric motor 7 is fastened. From this a worm 9 is driven which engages in a worm wheel 10 which is connected to a crank 11 which is articulated by a connecting rod 12 to a guide piece 6 for the lifting rod 5 sliding in the tube 1. The lifting rod 5 is fastened at the lower end to the bell-shaped rubber membrane: S ′, which lies between two metal disks 77 which are connected by screws 18. The lifting rod 5 passes through the disks 17 and the membrane 3 ′.
The outer edge 3 a of the membrane. 3 / is mounted in an outwardly projecting bead-like edge S ′ of the outer bell 2 and is retained in the edge 2 ′ by a spring ring 16. The membrane is set in rapid upward and downward movement by the lifting rod 5, and the laundry on which the outer bell 2 is placed is thereby quickly cleaned.
With the high number of revolutions of the motor 7, the use of the snow gear transmission 9, 10 reduces the number of strokes of the inner bell to such an extent that the tamper only performs the required number of movements. The motor itself sits on a frame 14 which is provided with a plug 15 7 for the introduction of the supply cord.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the inner bell 3 is freely movable in the outer bell 2 and is provided with a sieve bottom 4 on the lower part. Like the membrane 3 ′, the inner bell is moved by the lifting rod 5. During washing, the wash liquor passes through the sieve bottom of the inner bell and flows off over the edge of the same into the space between the inner and outer bell.
Instead of moving the inner bell, the outer bell can also be movable (FIGS. 2 and 3).
The inner bell is then firmly connected to the tube 1, while the outer bell is guided on the tube 1 by means of a sleeve-like extension 2a and with the pin 2b in the tube 1

guided lifting rod 5 is connected. During the upward and downward movement, the pin 2 b slides in cutouts 1 ′ of the tube 1. In this embodiment, the sieve bottom 4 is arranged on the upper part of the inner curtain.
