EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The invention relates to the production of a non-toxic fuel gas. It has already been proposed that the toxic starting gas be detoxified by means of known measures
Adding additional gases and removing certain gas components to get a certain desired, non-toxic end gas.
The essence of the present invention is that already compared to the Xormal-
Kas starting gas considered to be inferior. such as technical water gas, double gas or the like, is produced from the outset in such a composition that, apart from the sulfur compounds, this gas only forms before or after the conversion of the carbon oxide by methane catalysis
Part of the carbon dioxide needs to be removed in order to produce a fuel gas with the most important performance properties in terms of calorific value, specific weight and preferably also in terms of ignition speed.
EMI1.2
alkaline salts and only then gasified in the generator.
What is achieved by the invention is that the process for obtaining non-toxic town gas is extremely cheaper by using the gas in addition to methane catalysis. d. According to the conversion of the carbon dioxide with hydrogen into methane and water, no further conversion process needs to be subjected. Only the sulfur compounds and carbonic acid have to be eliminated.
In order to carry out the method according to the invention, a gas generator is operated in a two-stage operation in a known manner, e.g. B. like this. that a gas of the following composition is created:

The carbon dioxide is excreted as indicated in the exemplary embodiment. before catalysis. It can also take place after the catalysis. This elimination will be carried out when it is most appropriate from an operational point of view. The removal before catalysis has e.g. B. the advantage that the carbon dioxide does not need to be dragged through during the catalytic process, which gives rise to heat losses.
