Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Verpacken von Eiern od. dgl. für den Transport, bestehend insbesondere aus einem Stapel einzelner Elemente, deren jedes eine Vielzahl von Zellen aus Pappe enthält. Statt Eiern könnte die Einrichtung nach der Erfindung auch beispielsweise Obst oder andere geeignete Körper zweckmässiger Gestalt, wie Glaswaren, aufnehmen.

Gemäss der Erfindung ist die Einrichtung zum Verpacken von Eiern od. dgl. für den Transport dadurch ausgezeichnet, dass die Vielzahl der insbesondere wabenförmig angeordneten, vorzugsweise runden Zellen aus Wellpappe od. dgl. an den aneinanderstossenden Wandteilen durch Verkleben zu einem steifen Ganzen untereinander und mit einem diese Zellen umfassenden Rahmen verbunden sind.
Die Zeichnung stellt beispielsweise eine Einrichtung nach der Erfindung in einer Ausführungs- form für Eier dar. Fig. 1 ist ein lotrechter Längsschnitt, Fig. 2 ist eine Draufsicht.
Die Einrichtung in der Ausführungsform für Eier bestellt aus einem Rahmen a, beispielsweise aus Holz, in dem eine Vielzahl von Zellen & , zweckmässig runder Form und in Wellpappe gestaltet, wabenförmig angeordnet sind. Der Durchmesser der Zellen sowie die Höhe und damit auch diejenige des Rahmens sind den Abmessungen der Eier angepasst. Die Zellen b sind an den Stellen gegenseitiger Berührung untereinander bzw. der Berührung mit den Innenseiten des Rahmens a miteinander verklebt oder in wirkungsgleicher Weise verbunden, so dass die Zellen b und der Rahmen a ein steifes Ganzes bilden.
Die Wirkungsweise der Einrichtung zum Verpacken von Eiern ist die folgende :
In einer Kiste c, die entsprechend den üblichen Eier1. isten bemessen sein kann, sind mehrere Stapel nach der Erfindung angeordnet. Vorerst wird der Boden der Kiste ('mit einer Lage il von Wellpappe bedeckt. Hierauf wird das erste Stapelelement eingebracht. bestehend aus dem Rahmen a und den Zellen b. Nunmehr wird dieses erste Element mit Eiern e beschickt. Hierauf wird dieser unterste Stapel mit einer Lage dl von Wellpappe überdeckt und ein zweites Stapelelement eingebracht werden, dessen Rahmen das Bezugszeichen i hat und dessen Zellen dasjenige Til haben würden.
Man wird je nach der Höhe der geeignet bemessenen Kiste den Stapel fortsetzen, wie oben ausgeführt, und das oberste Stapelelement mit ein oder mehreren Lagen Wellpappe abdecken.
Durch diese besondere Lagerung in der Kiste sind die Eier mit fast absoluter Sicherheit gegen Zerbrechen geschützt. Auch das Einzählen"der Eier in die Kiste fällt nunmehr weg, da man normierte Kisten mit Stapelelemente vorbestimmter Zellenzahl und bestimmter Anzahl von Stapeln verwenden wird.
Beim Verkauf wird die beschriebene Einrichtung in umgekehrter Weise wieder abgebaut und nach Abheben der oberen Lage von Wellpappe jeweils der darunter befindliche Rahmen sorgfältig abgehoben, wodurch die Eier aus den Zellen gleiten und auf die Decklage aus Wellpappe des noch nicht angepackten näehstunteren Stapelelements zu liegen kommen, wo sie frei zum Herausnehmen für den Verkauf zugänglich sind.
