Der Grund für die günstige Wirkung der Druckerhöhung in diesem Falle diirfte darin zu suchen sein, dass bei Atmosphärendruck Krypton und Sauerstoff nicht mehr unbegrenzt im flüssigen Zustand miteinander mischbar sind, sondern bei höheren Kryptonkonzentrationen das Edelgas sich zum Teil in fester Form ausscheidet.
Bei höheren Drücken bilden dagegen Krypton und Sauerstoff eine lückenlose Mischungsreihe, die auch bei kryptonreichen Gemischen flüssig bleibt.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Verfahren zur Gewinnung der Luftbestandteile mit höherem Siedepunkt als Sauerstoff nach Stammpatent Nr. 134751, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zerlegung des Sauerstoff-Krypton-Gemisches durch Rektifikation unter erhöhtem Druck durchgeführt wird.
