Drebfeldscheider.

Drebfeldscheider.
The parent patent protects rotary field separators without galvanic interlinking of the feeding current transformers, whereby a reduction in the power required for these circuits is achieved through appropriate dimensioning of the resistors and windings used.
The further development of the circuits protected in the main patent leads to the circuit described below, with which an even further reduction in the power requirement of the rotating field separator is achieved with an even load on the feeding current transformers.
The rotating field separator according to the additional invention is fed by two current transformers. An inductance connected in series with an ohmic resistor is connected to one current transformer. The number of turns of this inductance is n x 1'5. A second winding, which is fed by the second current transformer, is inductively coupled to the first winding. The number of turns of the second winding is = n. In order to achieve the optimum performance, the internal resistance of the rotary field separator circuit is chosen to be equal to the resistance of the connected device, which is to be excited by the current of the co-rotating or opposing current system.
The figure serves to explain the invention. In this, the three conductors of a three-phase network are labeled R, S, T. Of the two current transformers that are used to excite the rotating field separator, one is connected to the phase conductor R, the other to the phase conductor T. The device that is intended to display the opposing current system in the circuit shown is denoted by z. z should also mean the size of the resistance of this relay. The rotating field separator is connected to the current transformer of phase R, which consists of an ohmic resistor r and one winding of a double winding inductance. The winding of the inductance connected to the resistor r is z.
B. by an iron core common to both windings with an air gap inductively coupled to a second winding, which is fed by the secondary current of the current transformer located in the phase line T. The two windings, which are inductively coupled to one another, have the reactance x in relation to the relay or display device z. The winding in series with the resistor has a tap at such a point that the winding is split into two parts, the number of turns of which is 1: 2. The winding through which the current of phase T flows has the same number of turns as the larger part of the first winding. The resistance z of the relay has the same size as the effective internal resistance R of the rotary field separator.
In this arrangement, the load on each current transformer due to the moving current component is 2/3 m2 R, where m is the strength of the current of the moving system and R is the effective resistance of the rotating field separator. If one of the two current transformers is moved to a different phase line, the current in relay z no longer corresponds to the opposing current system, but to the concurrent current system.
