EMI1.1

Fig. 6 zeigt das zugehörige Verriegelungsmittel geöffnet, Fig. 7 in geschlossenem Zustand.

EMI1.1
The invention relates to a conveying vessel with an emptying flap pivotable about its upper edge, in particular for overhead railways, cable cars or the like.
It is known in self-unloading wagons to seal flaps with an overhead axis of rotation at their lower edge coming into contact with the fixed car parts in that the flap is equipped at its lower edge with a resilient longitudinal tongue firmly connected to it, which in the closed position against a corresponding longitudinal rail Plant is coming. This known device, however, has the disadvantage that the flap edge is brought into contact with the fixed opposite edge fairly precisely, so the conveying vessel must be manufactured precisely; but even then, because of the rigid connection of the resilient longitudinal tongue with the flap, the desired sealing effect is lost if the tongue bends during rough operation or if the flap becomes distorted.
Furthermore, in bunkers and vessels, a closure flap with a lower axis of rotation is known, with a strike plate placed on the flap and partially concentrically bent at a certain distance around the axis of rotation, in the closed position of the flap, forming a space in which the goods slope down and thus seal the Flap hinge brings about.
Compared to these known devices, the essence of the invention is that below and behind the lower edge of the outlet opening a trough-shaped sealing means, which can be rotated independently of the closure flap and preferably designed as a longitudinally slotted hollow cylinder, is arranged, which simultaneously serves to lock the flap.
The proposed device has the advantage that the lower edge of the flap does not need to be brought into tight contact with any fixed opposite edge; trickles

Sealing means designed like a channel or trough, whereby a tight seal is brought about even with the changes in shape that are unavoidable in rough operations and also when the flap is warped. Because the sealing means, which can be rotated independently of the closure flap, also serves to lock the flap, a particularly simple, inexpensive, self-locking and securely sealing closure for conveying vessels or the like is achieved.
The invention is shown diagrammatically in the drawing using two exemplary embodiments: FIG. 1 shows an embodiment in section with only one side flap, FIG. 2 shows the associated side view, FIG. 3 shows, on an enlarged scale, the lower closure part in the closed position, FIG 4 in the open state. Fig. 5 shows another embodiment with double side flaps, also in section. Fig. 6 shows the associated locking means open, Fig. 7 in the closed state.
One longitudinal wall 1 of the conveying vessel 2 (FIG. 1) goes straight downwards, while the lower part of the other longitudinal wall 3 consists of a flap 5 that is movable about the axis 4. This closure flap 5 is provided with a longitudinal strip 6 (FIG. 3) extending over the entire width of the flap. In the closed position (FIG. 3), the flap 5 is held by the locking body 7, which is designed as a slotted tube and can be rotated about an axis that is somewhat eccentric to its cylinder axis. In the closed position, the lower edge 8 of the angle 6 connected to the closing flap 5 lies against the inner wall of the slotted tube 7. The closure is self-locking because the opening force exerted by the flap along the edge 8 goes through the axis of rotation of the slotted tube.
The closure seals completely because the emerging fine material can be seen in the channel 7, as can be seen in FIG. 3

articulated stop lever 12, which can be operated by hand or brought into effect with a fixed, adjustable stop during the movement of the conveying vessel. By actuating the stop lever 12, the slotted tube -1 is rotated about its longitudinal axis, whereby the angle 6 is released, the flap 5 is opened by the internal pressure and the delivery vessel is emptied (FIG. 4). The
Locking takes place analogously in that after the flap 5 is closed, the angle 6 connected to it enters the inside of the pipe through the slot of the pipe 7 and when the pipe is rotated in it
Position is held. The opening resp.
As shown in the exemplary embodiment, the closing movement can be facilitated by the fact that the slotted tube 7 can be rotated about an axis eccentric to its cylinder axis.
Another embodiment of the inventive concept for a delivery vessel with flaps arranged on both sides can be easily understood from FIGS. 5-7.
The invention can also be used with the same advantage for cable crane buckets, self-unloading wagons, shaft conveying vessels, folding buckets or other conveying vessels and containers.
