Control valve for heating systems.
Patent No. 131681 relates to a method and a device for regulating the heating power of a heating system. in which the return flow of the condensate from the higher point of consumption to the lower-lying evaporator is regulated. These are heating systems that are mainly operated at high pressures and high temperatures. The valves of such heating systems thus work under particularly difficult operating conditions, since in such systems pressures of up to about 200 atm. and temperatures of up to about 150 ° C. and above can occur. Now the valves should keep tight for many years, especially when they are used in a closed heating circuit.
It

it is no longer able to withstand the operational stresses sufficiently, especially since the ability of the valve to move places high demands on the material. If such a resilient intermediate member is defective, the replacement of the hard-soldered and somewhat sensitive part on the spot is laborious and difficult to carry out.
According to the invention, the membrane is now removed from the area of high temperatures. u. between the valve and the diaphragm, a transmission element of such a length is connected that the diaphragm is not exposed to the high temperatures; In addition, the arrangement is made so that the part of the guide tube adjacent to the membrane is always filled with condensate from the heating medium. The transmission element can finally be connected to a handwheel, handle or the like that is used to actuate it, so that the valve is automatically closed independently of the movement by hand when the pressure of the means controlled by the valve exceeds a certain value.
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the invention in vertical longitudinal section.
In Fig. 1, an embodiment of such a valve is shown. The valve cone 86 controls the passage of the heating medium through the valve housing 89, which enters from the heat consumption point through the pipe 87 and flows through the pipe 88 to the heat absorption point. The valve cone 86 is seated on a valve spindle 90 with the interposition of a guide part 91 which is guided in the valve housing 89, the other end of which is also provided with a guide piece 92 which is guided in the housing 93. The housings 89 and 93 are connected by a long guide tube 94, in which the spindle 90 can move freely.
In the housing 93, an internal thread 95 is attached, onto which a seamless, longitudinally springy spiral loop 96 is screwed and soldered. The other end of this hose is on a thread 97 of the
EMI1.2
and the sleeve 93 is screwed in. The latter is attached to the outer wall 102 of the device; For example, this can be done by screwing the indicated threads of the sleeve 93 into the threads of the sleeve 101 and a lock nut 103. Finally, the flange 98 also has an internal thread
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
provided head 104. The threaded end of a bolt 105, which is rotatably arranged in a handwheel 109 and the head 106 of which lies in a round groove 107 of the handwheel, engages in this thread.
The handwheel has a threaded shoulder j! OS that. engages in a corresponding internal thread of the sleeve 101. By turning the wheel in one sense or the other, a longitudinal movement of the spindle 90 and thus of the valve 86 is brought about, but without these parts participating in a rotation, since the screw 100 in the groove 99 prevents this rotation, while on the other hand the groove a Allows longitudinal movement. The valve can therefore be opened and closed by rotating the wheel 109.
In Fig. 2, a similar control valve as in Fig. 1 is shown. However, in addition to the manual control, this also has an automatic control in that the pressure of the heating medium automatically blocks the passage of this medium when a certain limit is exceeded. For this purpose, the valve 110 is connected to the spindle 90 by a connecting rod 111. The valve body 110 is seated here opposite to that in FIG. 1, so that by moving the spindle 90 it is
EMI2.1
and thus closed or open. In addition, however, the pressure of the heating medium acts against the spindle 90 or its guide bodies 91 and 92 in the sense that the valve is closed when the pressure is greater than the force of the spring 112.
The tension of this spring can be adjusted as required, whereby the pressure at which the valve is closed can also be adjusted.
