Nach der vorliegenden Erfindung wird dieser Nachteil mit absoluter Sicherheit vermieden. Darüber hinaus bietet das vorliegende Verfahren auch den Vorteil, dass es einen sehr weiten Spielraum bei der Wahl der Temperatur und des Druckes gestattet, die zu einer vollendeten Verklebung führen und so ausgewählt werden können, dass die optischen Eigenschaften der Verbundgläser nicht schädlich beeinflusst werden.
Es ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, das endgültige Verkleben eines durch Vereinigung von zwei Glasplatten mit einer Folie aus Cellulosederivat in einem aus einer flüchtigen, das Material der Folie in der Wärme lösenden, in der Kälte dagegen nicht lösenden Flüssigkeit bestehenden Bade erhaltenen Verbundglases dadurch zu bewirken, dass man die vereinigten Platten der direkten Einwirkung eines heissen unter Druck stehenden Gases unterwirft. Trotz der vorzüglichen Eigenschaften der erhaltenen Produkte bedeutete die Anwendung eines flüchtigen Stoffes für die Vereinigung doch eine Gefahr, dass sich Blasen bildeten. Die vorliegende Erfindung, die die gleiche Behandlung mit einem heissen Gas unter Druck bei Platten anwendet, für deren Vereinigung man keinen flüchtigen Stoff benutzt hat, vermeidet diesen Nachteil vollkommen.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : 1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbundglas durch Vereinigen von zwei Glasscheiben mit einer Folie aus plastischem Material unter Anpressen des erweichten, plastischen Materials innerhalb eines Bades von Weichmachungsmitteln, worauf die so zusammengepressten Platten aus dem Bade herausgenommen und unter Druck endgültig miteinander verklebt werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese endgültige Verklebung in einem Autoklaven erfolgt, in welchem das Verbundglas der direkten Einwirkung eines heissen Gases unter Druck ausgesetzt wird.

PATENT CLAIMS: 1. Process for the production of laminated glass by joining two panes of glass with a sheet of plastic material while pressing the softened, plastic material within a bath of plasticizing agents, whereupon the sheets compressed in this way are taken out of the bath and finally glued together under pressure are characterized in that this final gluing takes place in an autoclave in which the laminated glass is exposed to the direct action of a hot gas under pressure.
