Elektrischer Schraubenzieher.

Electric screwdriver.
In the case of electric screwdrivers, the motor has to overcome relatively great forces when screwing in the screws, especially at the moment when the screws sit with their screw heads on the base and must be fully tightened. In the previous versions, therefore, relatively large motors were used, which made the working device not insignificantly more expensive. In addition, the dimensions of the devices became so large that special handles had to be provided on them in order to enable handling.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are eliminated in that a motor of small power and small diameter is used. which can be conveniently accommodated in the handle of the device and is given a flywheel to overcome the high additional loads that occur when the screws are tightened.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown partly in view, partly in section. In a housing a, as indicated by dashed lines, a motor b is arranged, on whose axis c a flywheel d is attached. This is also designed as a fan disk for cooling the motor and for this purpose has bores e directed obliquely outward. The dimensions of the motor b and thus of the entire housing a are kept so small that the device does not require any special handling and can be easily handled due to its low weight.
The additional forces that occur when the screws to be screwed in sit with their screw heads on the base and must be fully tightened, are compensated by the flywheel d, so that the existing small power of the motor is sufficient to tighten the screws. The fan disc cools the motor so effectively that it cannot heat up to a harmful extent even if it is continuously working. In addition, when the screw is tightened, the Sehwungseheibe supports the disengagement of the slip clutch which is customary for this purpose and which is accommodated in a known manner between the motor and the screwdriver.
