   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Hahn für Dampf- und andere Leitungen, dessen Zu- und Ableitungen im Winkel zueinander liegen und dessen KÜken eine dichtende Oberfläche besitzt, die einen Teil einer   Kugelfläche   bildet. 



   Bei den bekannten Hähnen dieser Art ist der Küken in der Weise angeordnet, dass die Drehachse desselben mit der Richtung der   Zufuhrung-odeur   der der   Abführungsleitung     zusammenfällt.   Diese Anordnung macht eine Lagerung des Kükens am unteren Ende unmöglich, was wegen der am Betätigungshebel angreifenden, meist einseitig wirkenden Kraft einen Nachteil bedeutet. Ferner liegt bei diesen bisher bekannten Hähnen der Küken immer auf der unteren Dichtung auf, so dass Fremdkörper, die zwischen Küken und Dichtung gelangen dort bleiben und bei Bewegung des Kükens zu Rillenbildung und damit zu   Undiehtheiten   Anlass geben.

   In the known taps of this type, the plug is arranged in such a way that its axis of rotation coincides with the direction of the supply or that of the discharge line. This arrangement makes it impossible to mount the plug at the lower end, which is a disadvantage because of the force acting on the actuating lever, which is usually one-sided. Furthermore, in these previously known taps, the chick always rests on the lower seal, so that foreign bodies that get between the chick and the seal remain there and give rise to the formation of grooves and thus leaks when the chick moves.
