Luntenfeuerzeug.

Match lighter.
The invention relates to a matchstick lighter in which the matchmaker sleeve receiving the match is arranged to the side of the flint guide and a drive wheel acting in the matchmaker sleeve, by rotating it in one sense or the other, brings about the advance or retraction of the match. In order to enable the glowing fuse to be extinguished, the fuse sleeve is pivotably articulated to the lighter body in one of the known fuses, whereas the lid for the mouth of the fuses is rigidly connected to the lighter body.
Apart from the fact that this lighter can only be operated with the help of both hands, neither the fuse sleeve can be brought near the sparking parts after the fuse has been advanced due to the lid standing in the way, which makes ignition extremely difficult, nor does the lid provide enough tight closure of the roving tube.
The object of the invention now forms a one-handed rifle lighter, which eliminates all of the aforementioned shortcomings in that the closure for the rifle case, e.g. B. a cover with the drive wheel is brought into connection by transmission organs, which bring about the movement of the shutter either involuntarily through the intermediary of the finger actuating the drive wheel or inevitably by the rotational movement of the drive wheel.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown, u. Between. Fig. 1 shows the lighter in the closed state, Fig. 2 in the open state in a side view and Fig. 3 in a plan view.
The fuse lighter consists in the usual way of a fuse sleeve b which receives the fuse a and to which a flint guide e carrying the friction wheel d is connected by means of a lateral web c. The advance and retraction of the fuse a is brought about by a drive wheel f, which is expediently provided at about half its height on the jacket of the sliver tube b, which sits freely rotatable on an axis h mounted in flap g and through an opening into the interior of the sliver tube b reaches in.
An angle lever i, k is also freely rotatable around the axis h of the drive wheel, the lever arm i of which, when the lighter is closed, is inclined downwards and engages the drive wheel f in a bow-shaped manner, whereas the other upwardly longer lever arm & rests on the roving sleeve b and on his

stiffened by a rib 1ò and springs according to its design against the mouth of the roving sleeve b, so that a tight seal is achieved which ensures that the roving a will go out immediately.
In the closed position of the lighter, resilient claws o protruding from the lever arm k clasp the Luntenhülseb in a bow-like manner and prevent the lid m from accidentally sliding off the mouth, for example when putting the lighter in the pocket of clothes, which-in the case of the fuse a has not yet gone out - could cause fire damage.
The mode of operation of the lighter is as follows:
When using the lighter, the thumb is placed on the free part of the drive wheel f bounded by the angle lever i, k and then the drive wheel is operated as usual, with involuntary pressure being exerted on the lever arm i and accordingly the angle lever i, k being taken clockwise . This has the consequence that on the one hand the deekel m swings away from the mouth of the roving sleeve b, on the other hand the drive wheel f advances the roving a by a certain distance. If the fuse a in its sleeve b is to be supplied again, only the drive wheel is (in the same way in the opposite sense
