Zopfhalter.

Braid holder.
The invention relates to a braid holder made of an elastic band which can be changed in its effective length, e.g. B. rubber band, which by means of any closure, z. B. a snap fastener, can be closed to form a loop. In the known braid holder, the band forms a loop in which the one fastener part hangs, while the other fastener part is attached to the second band end, as a result of a buckle which is guided along the same and connected to one end of the band.
The subject of the invention is a braid holder which differs from the one described above in that a buckle which can be freely displaced along the band directly carries the one closure part to which the other closure part attached to one of the free ends of the band is assigned.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown, u. Between. Fig. 1 shows the plait holder during use in a diagram, Fig. 2 shows the same in section and Fig. 3 shows a bottom view of its buckle.
The braid holder consists of an elastic band a, z. B. made of rubber, which carries a push button head b at one end, while the associated snap button eyelet c is provided on a buckle d displaceable along the band a. According to the invention, the buckle d is now formed directly to the snap-fastener eyelet c in that a hole is punched out of the buckle d, suitably made of sheet metal, the edges of which are flanged. In order to achieve the spring required for clasping the pushbutton head b, the flared edge is broken up into individual resilient tabs through radial slots (FIG. 3).
By moving the buckle d one can adjust the effective length of the band a to the respective thickness of the braid e. The band a is expediently provided with tooth-like longitudinal grooves f in which the correspondingly profiled tooth combs g of the buckle d engage. The arrangement of the grooves f means that, on the one hand, the belt surface is artificially enlarged to support the tooth combs g, and on the other hand the groove flanks press against the flanks of the tooth combs g during the transverse deformation of the belt a, whereby despite the smoothness of the belt a without it Damage a secure fit of the buckle d is achieved.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Braid holder, in which a changeable in its effective length, elastic band by any two-part closure, z. B. a snap fastener can be closed to form a loop, characterized in that the one fastener part (e) sits on a buckle (d) which can be moved along the band (a), while the second fastener part (b) is attached to one end of the band in the usual way is.
