Kompressorium filr Trichinoskope.

Compressorium for trichinoscopes.
The invention relates to a compressorium for trichinoscopes and consists in that the two pressure bodies pressing the glass plates against one another consist of pressure fingers arranged like spokes.
The subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing. 1 shows an end view, FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section through the compressorium, FIG. 3 shows a view of the hub disk of a pressure body.
The pieces of meat to be examined in the trichinoscope are placed between the glass panes 1, 2, which are pressed against one another by the pressure bodies 3, 4 with pressure fingers 5 arranged like spokes. Fields are arranged on the circumference of the circular glass plates, in which the pieces of meat to be examined are placed next to one another in a circle. These fields are rotated past the lens of a projection apparatus one after the other, illuminated and projected enlarged.
The spoke-like pressure fingers 5 of the pressure bodies have attachment surfaces 19 at their ends which press on the edges of the glass plates so that the pressure is evenly distributed over all fields and the glass plate is prevented from cracking. In the hub of the pressure body 3, a bolt 6 is inserted, the end of which is threaded. First the glass plates 1, 2 and then the pressure body 4 are pushed onto these bolts. Both the pressure body and the glass plates have a bore 8 into which a pin 9 is inserted in order to secure the individual parts against mutual displacement.
The wing nut 10 screwed onto the bolt 6 presses the pressure bodies and thus the glass plates with the pieces of meat between them against one another. The hub of the pressure body 3 has a bulge 11 on its outer edge, which is interrupted at two adjacent points. The bolt 6 of this hub has a through hole 12. With this hole, the compressorium can be pushed onto the stub axle 13 of the drive plate 14. A pin 15 of the drive plate engages in one of the recesses 16 of the bead 11 so that the compressor is carried along when the drive plate is rotated.
However, before the pin 15 can come into engagement with the recess, a Sporrhakenjy must when the compressor is pushed on

attached, which wall also carries the storage for the drive plate. The compressor can only be attached when both the end of the locking hook and the pin 15 coincide with one of the recesses 16. If the completely pushed-on compressor medium is rotated, the end of the locking hook 17 gets behind the bead 11 and prevents the compressor medium from being pulled off the drive plate. The compressor can only be removed when the locking hook coincides with one of the two recesses.
However, since a stop for the locking hook is arranged between the two recesses just next to one another, the support bodies have to perform almost a full rotation before they can be pulled off again. The stop for the locking hook is formed by a pin 18 inserted into the hub. You have the guarantee that all fields are guided past the lens of the projection apparatus. The stop prevents the supporting body from turning further after a full turn and defines the point at which the compressor medium has to be withdrawn. The compressors all have an axial through hole 12 in the bolt 6 to line up several compressors for the purpose of transport on a rod.
The advantage of the compressor according to the invention consists in the even pressure distribution on the glass plates. so that these can be kept thinner, and in the fuse for that

all fields must be screened before the compressor can be removed from the drive plate again. The good pressure distribution also results in a uniform transparency and thickness of the samples. The pressure fingers protect the glass plates from mechanical damage.
