Die bisher üblichen Methoden, Gehäuse elektrischer Maschinen aus Gusseisen in bekannter Weise in Sand gegossen herzustellen, erfordern entsprechende Bearbeitung der Gussstücke bis zu ihrer Verwendbarkeit. Die Bearbeitung hängt von der Formgebung ab und bedingt oft ziemlich Kosten. Trotz des niederen Preises von Gusseisen stellt sich der Preis des Fertigproduktes weit höher als der Preis des gleichen Stückes aus Leichtmetall, z. B. Aluminium, wenn das Gussstück ohne jedwede Nacharbeit oder zumindest nach sehr geringer Putzarbeit sofort gebrauchsfertig von der Gussform weg verwendet werden kann.
Die Erfindung betrifft die Herstellung derartiger Gehäuse (Fig. 1-3) mittels des Schleuderverfahrens, wobei gemäss Fig. 2 das durch die Platten F4 und F fertig zusammengepresste Ständerblech- paket 8 in eine mehrteilige Eisenform Fi, F2 und F 3 gelegt und gemeinsam mit dieser Form in Rotation versetzt wird.
Während der Rotation wird in die Form bei E (Fig. 2) das flüssige Leichtmetall eingegossen. Das flüssige Metall umfliesst das Ständerblechpaket. Nach dem Erstarren wird das fertige Gehäuse G (Fig. 1 und 3) mit dem Ständer aus der Form gehoben. Die Pressplatten F4 und Fg werden gelöst. Durch die Schwindung des Gusses im Moment des Erstarrens wird eine dauernde Pressung der Ständerbleche im Gehäuse erreicht.
Nach dem geschilderten Verfahren ist es möglich, die Gusseisenformen aus gewöhnlichem Grauguss herzustellen und nicht, wie dies bei dem Spritzgussverfahren erforderlich, schwere, teure Stahlgussformen der hohen Drücke wegen verwenden zu müssen. Ausserdem ist die Einrichtung für das geschilderte Verfahren gegenüber dem Spritzgussverfahren viel billiger, da das Metall von Hand aus eingegossen wird.

The previously common methods of producing housings for electrical machines from cast iron cast in sand in a known manner require appropriate machining of the cast pieces until they can be used. The processing depends on the shape and is often quite expensive. Despite the low price of cast iron, the price of the finished product is far higher than the price of the same piece of light metal, e.g. B. aluminum, if the casting can be used immediately and ready to use from the mold without any rework or at least after very little cleaning work.
The invention relates to the production of such housings (Fig. 1-3) by means of the centrifugal process, whereby according to FIG this form is set in rotation.
During the rotation, the liquid light metal is poured into the mold at E (Fig. 2). The liquid metal flows around the stator core. After solidification, the finished housing G (FIGS. 1 and 3) with the stand is lifted out of the mold. The press plates F4 and Fg are released. Due to the shrinkage of the casting at the moment of solidification, permanent pressing of the stator plates in the housing is achieved.
According to the method described, it is possible to produce the cast iron molds from ordinary gray cast iron and not, as is necessary in the injection molding process, to have to use heavy, expensive steel molds because of the high pressures. In addition, the device for the process described is much cheaper than the injection molding process, since the metal is poured in by hand.
