Electric light bulb.
The subject of the invention is an electric incandescent lamp, the glass body of which has an annular reflective band between the lamp neck and the glass balloon, which surrounds the filament in the form of a concave or convex channel and is produced by the rotation of a parabolic surface line around the axis of the glass body. The base carrying the filament is of the usual known type and may have a reflective disc which cooperates with the annular reflective band, internally or externally, by silvering, tinning or similarly produced reflective bands.
The bulb of the lamp can be designed in the shape of a truncated cone and closed by a curved base, so that a large internal volume is obtained, which ensures a relatively low degree of heat, so that an influence of this heat on the reflective surfaces is avoided.
The edges of the reflective tape will lie in a perpendicular or an inclined plane with respect to the axis of the lamp.
EMI1.1
show examples in section, explained in more detail.
With reference to the figures, an annular reflective tape in the form of a sleeve is arranged between the glass balloon 1 and the lamp neck 2. This sleeve is convex or concave and surrounds the filament 5, the same being created by a parabolic surface line rotating about the axis of the lamp.
The tape is made reflective externally or internally between the planes a-a, b-b, a "-a", b'-b 'by silver-plating, tinning or in any other suitable manner. The foot 4, the

so that the glass balloon has a sufficiently large internal volume to maintain a temperature which has no influence on the reflective material. The planes a-a, b-b, a "-a." And b'-b 'can be perpendicular or inclined with respect to the axis of the lamp.
The incandescent lamp described offers the advantage of achieving complete diffusion and reflection of the light, so that the illumination of the area illuminated by this lamp is particularly intense.
The rotating parabolic surface line that generates the reflective tape can be a pure parabola or approach this shape or be formed by a succession of straight and curved surfaces which roughly correspond to a parabolic line.
