Device for actuating signals, in particular for motor vehicles.
The invention relates to a device for actuating signals, in particular on motor vehicles, and aims to achieve significantly greater operational reliability compared to the previously customary contact rings and to enable both acoustic and optical
Signals can be triggered, u. zw. In such a way that only one grip is necessary, which triggers j whereupon the signal comes into effect for a certain period of time.
Essentially, this should be done by switching the relevant contact using compressed air. For this purpose, only one air line is required, which z. B. a small one
Piston, at the other end an organ that transfers the air pressure to the contact.
Devices for actuating signals have already become known which consist of a compressed air generator (balloon, piston, etc.) as a trigger, an air line and an organ at the other end of the air line which actuates the contact under the action of the compressed air.
These signaling devices have the disadvantage that contact stops immediately after the
Pressure on the compressed air generator opens.
The purpose of the invention is now to remedy this Ubelstand in that a
Resistance (e.g. a valve) is switched on, which the after. Stop pressure on the
Piston only allows air to return slowly as a result of the organ's return to its rest position, so that it takes a certain time before the contact is opened again.
Corresponding to the usual contact rings on the steering wheel, this can be seen in more familiar terms
Way, an annular hose can be arranged, from which an air line branches off, the aforementioned
Contains organ that affects contact.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown schematically in one embodiment, u. between. The figure shows a device by means of a piston which triggers a signal that lasts for a longer period of time.
The device consists of a small cylinder 1 with a piston J which is always pushed outward by a spring 2 and is attached anywhere on the vehicle, possibly on the steering wheel.
A hose line 4 is attached to the cylinder base, which enters through an opening in the cover of the holder 5 and there itself opens into a bale 6.
In the inflated state, this acts on a spring 7 which, when depressed, closes the contact 8 of the electrical signal line.
The signal can thus be given with a single pressure on the piston.
To get a continuous signal without constant pressure on the piston, in the air line, u. zw. In the present case on the connection piece of the cylinder, a valve 9 is provided, which after releasing the piston as a result of the return of the ball 6 in the original position and shape in the air tube can only slowly return, whereby the final position of the
Contact is maintained for a certain time.
Instead of the ball 6, a piston can also be used.
