Flüssigkeitszerstäuber.
EMI1.1
Fig. 1 zeigt einen Schnitt. Fig. 2 eine Vorderansicht des Zerstäubers.

Liquid atomizer.
EMI1.1
a liquid contained in a container is vigorously atomized. According to the invention, an annular space is arranged around the mouth of a tube immersed in a liquid container, the inside of which has a conical, parabolic or similar shape. The wall which delimits this annular space is formed at the mouth of the tube plunging into the container below
EMI1.2
which creates a vacuum in front of the pipe mouth, through which liquid is sucked out of the container, which is distributed in the form of a mist in the air flow emerging from the atomizer.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a section. Figure 2 is a front view of the nebulizer.
The liquid to be atomized is filled in a container 1 in which a tube 2 is immersed, the end part of which has a horizontal bend: J.
This part J lies axially in a mouthpiece 4, on the cylindrical inner wall of which is attached a part J of conical or parabolic shape which narrows towards the end. At its end, the mouthpiece has a narrow, annular outlet opening 6 which surrounds the mouth of the tube 3.
The outside of the mouthpiece 4 is given any suitable shape which does not induce vortex formation in the air flow, for example a parabolic shape. 1) The front wall of the mouthpiece 4. in which the opening 6 is located may only be very thin around this opening.
The interior of the mouthpiece 4 is connected to the cylinder of a pump 7. The pump is arranged so that its axis lies in the extension of the pipe part: J. A piston 8 is movable in the cylinder by means of a piston rod 9.
The atomizer works as follows.
By pressing the piston into the cylinder, the air in the conical mouthpiece 4 is compressed; this compressed air is throttled when it exits through the annular opening; When it escapes into the open air, this exiting air expands and thereby creates a negative pressure, which causes the liquid to be sucked out of the container. The liquid rises in the pipe. and disperses in the form of a mist in the air stream exiting the atomizer.
As a result of the small wall thickness of the mouthpiece at the point of the annular outlet opening 6, countercurrents which would cause droplet formation are avoided.
