Es ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, einen der Schenkel von Brennscheren katalytiseh zu beheizen.
Ferner sind auch katalytisch beheizte Haarwickelvorrichtungen bekannt.
Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein besonders ausgestalteter katalytiseh beheizter Wickel- dorn für die Haarbehandlung. Der Wickeldorn ist als Hülse für die mit einem flüchtigen Heizstoffe zu tränkende Masse ausgebildet. Er ist ferner derart ausgestaltet, dass die Heranziehung des in der Masse verteilten Heizstoffes zur Heizwirkung über die ganze Länge der Masse gewährleistet ist.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes veran- schaulicht. Fig. 1 zeigt einen Längsschnitt, Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt nach der Linie 11-11 der Fig. 1.
Der Wickeldorn besteht aus einer Hülse a, auf deren offenes Ende eine hülsenförmige Kappe b aufschiebbar ist. Die Kappe ist mit Löchern c versehen und trägt einen verschwenkbaren Sperrbügel cl, der den Haarwickel auf der Hülse a und der Kappe b festhält und auch das unbeabsichtigte Abziehen der Kappe b von der Hülse a verhindert. In der Achse der Hülse a ist ein Rohr e angeordnet, das am Hülsenende bei f offen ist und weiter oben ein Loch < /hat. Im Bingraum zwischen der Hülsenwand und dem Rohre e ist eine saugfähige Masse 71, z. B. Watte oder ein poröser Tonkörper, untergebracht, welche mit dem zu verdampfenden Heizmittel, z. B. Benzin, getränkt wird.
Der Mündung des Gehäuses a ist der von einem Träger i gehaltene Katalysator vorgelagert, so dass an ihm die sich bildenden Dämpfe vorbeistreichen. Als Träger des Katalysators finden poröse Tonmassen, Asbest u. dgl. Verwendung, als Katalysator z. B. Platin oder Platinschwamm, das bzw. der zur Bildung einer grossen Oberfläche und aus ökonomischen Gründen auf dem Träger zweckmässig fein verteilt ist. Die vom Katalysator dem Träger i mitgeteilte Wärme wird durch einen an den Träger angeschlossenen und in das Rohr e eingeführten guten Wärmeleiter k längs der Packung verteilt. Sollte beim Tränken der Masse zu viel Heizflüssigkeit in die Hülse a eingeschüttet werden, so kann der Überschuss durch das Loch abfliessen.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Katalytisch beheizter Haarwickeldorn, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er als einseitig offene Hülse zur Aufnahme der mit flüchtigem Heizstoffe zu tränkenden Masse ausgebildet und dem offenen Ende der Hülse der Katalysator vorgelagert ist.
