Wash basin with lifting device for the drain valve.
In the known wash basins with a lifting device for the drain valve, the lever used to lift the drain valve is arranged in a special housing which is screwed onto the drain socket of the Wasehnbeekens and carries the odor trap at the lower end. Devices of this type are rather expensive due to the need for a special housing for the lever used to raise the drain valve, and they also protrude well below the bottom of the washbasin. For the latter reason, it has already been proposed, in the case of wash basins which are provided with an overflow channel on the rear wall, to arrange the entire actuation structure within this overflow channel.
However, due to the difficulty of securing the linkage in the overflow channel, the execution is even more expensive, and the overflow channel must also have a larger width than would otherwise be necessary.
EMI1.1
Drain valve serving lever is passed, the bearing of this lever is set up for attachment to the above-mentioned opening of the overflow channel.
Figs. 1 and 2 of the drawing illustrate two embodiments of the invention in vertical section.
In the bottom of the wash basin a, according to FIG. 1, an opening is provided in which the also the

connected to the handle used for actuation.
According to Fig. 2, the bearing m for the lever k is an extension of the base plate v of the connector b

the wall of the overflow channel (I ') is provided with a passage opening for the lever (k) used to lift the drain valve (i).
