Schiebefenster.

Blechkonstruktionsgehäuses an.

Sliding window.
The invention relates to a sliding window, the counterweights of which slide frames provided with hinged wings slide by means of guide rollers in grooves on the window frame.
In the known windows of this type, the ropes run openly in the recesses on the side parts of the window frame; The invention now lies in a new arrangement of the window management and consists in that a separate cable guide space is provided next to the weight box, the outer wall of which has the guide grooves for the sash frame rollers in the form of slots through which the cable connection heads of the rollers protrude into the cable guide space , in which are arranged obliquely downward as a guide for the cable of the lower sliding frame serving support body for the slot guide wall.
This ensures that the ropes are covered and run completely freely in the special rope guide boxes, so that the movement of the window is prevented as far as possible from being influenced by external influences.
In the drawing, the new window formation is shown in an exemplary embodiment, u. Between FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of the interior view of a wooden sliding window and FIGS. 2 and 3 show the longitudinal and cross-section of an iron sliding window with double glazing according to the invention.
As the schematic representation in Fig. 1 shows, the sliding window consists of the floor or. Wall frame 1, on the top of which a roller box 2 is provided. The wall frame 1 accommodates two sliding frames 3, 3 'which run with lateral guide rollers 4, 4' in grooves in the window reveal adjoining the stick frame. On the opposite side of the upper side of each sliding frame, the tension ropes loaded with counterweights engage, which run over guide rollers 12 which are accommodated in the roller box 2. Each sash frame 3, 3 ', articulated by hinges 6, carries a sash frame 5 which, in the case of double windows, accommodates the external glazing. A second wing 7, which carries the inner glazing, is linked to the wing 5 by further hinges 8.
The inner wing strikes the outer wing and can be opened both for itself and together with the outer wing. In any case, however, the sash frame remains unaffected and unaffected. The sliding sashes can be arranged lying one below the other in the stick frame as well as lying one behind the other in two levels. In Fig. 2 and 3, the inventive design of the guide device of the window is shown.
In the stick or wall frame 1 are the sash frames. 3, 3 ', on which guide rollers 4, 4' are arranged, which engage in guide grooves 9 which are provided in the window reveal. The pulling cables 14, which run over rollers 12 and are loaded with counterweights 11, which in a weight

takes on an inner and outer casement 5, 7 for double glazing in hinges 6, 8.
The lower side of the upper sliding frame 3 'is expediently backed with a wooden lining 13 and, when the windows are closed, forms the joint between the upper and lower frames. The weight box 10 accommodated in the window embrasures on both sides is partitioned off by a partition so that, according to the invention, a special cable guide space 10 ′ is formed which lies behind the outer box wall 16. In this box wall 16, the continuous guide strand braids 9 are also incorporated and the rope connection heads of the rollers protrude into the rope guide space 10 'located behind them.
In the rope guide space sloping downward support body 15 are arranged for the front slot guide wall 16, u. zw. In such a way that they also serve as a guide for the rope of the lower sash frame. These support bodies 15 can be formed either by individual blocks arranged in a step-like manner or by a coherent intermediate piece which tapers to a point from top to bottom. The fixed wall frame 1 and the sliding frame movable in this. 3 'are expediently designed as interlocking Z-shaped profile iron and on the inner leg of the wall frame 1 closes the weight box forming the side window reveal in the form of an iron or.
Sheet metal housing.
