  Verfahren zur gänzlichen oder teilweisen Entfernung des Kohlenoxyds aus Gasen (Gasentgiftung), insbesondere aus Kohlen-, Wasser-, Generatorgasen und deren Gemischen. 



   Nach dem Patent Nr. 127737 wird die beim Trockenkühlen oder Trockenlöschen anfallende Wärme für den   Wärmebedarf   des Umwandlungsprozesses des Kohlenoxyds in Gasen   ausgenützt,   indem die bei der Trockenkühlung sich ergebenden Medien oder ein Teil derselben zur Deckung des Wärmebedarfes bei der Ausführung der bekannten Reaktionen von Kohlenoxyd und Wasserdampf verwendet werden. Für die bisher bekannten Umwandlungsprozesse (Gasentgiftungsverfahren) wird dieser Wärmebedarf durch die Ausnützung des Temperaturgefälles

   Gemäss. der vorliegenden Erfindung wird nun diesem Umstand dadurch Rechnung getragen, dass an eine   Trockenkühlung   des glühenden Kokses bis auf etwa 400-5000, mit welcher der Wärmebedarf der Umwandlungsprozesse gedeckt wird, eine nasse Löschung in der gleichen Apparatur zur Herstellung des für die Umwandlungsprozesse erforderlichen Dampfes angeschlossen wird. Es wird also das Temperaturgefälle von   400-500  auf   etwa 100  C herab durch Ablöschen des Kokses mit Wasser bis zu seiner Erkaltung ausgenützt.

   Der dabei entstehende Wasserdampf wird der der Gasentgiftung dienenden Apparatur zugeleitet und dient dort dem Umwandlungsprozesse des CO in CO2 und H2 und gegebenenfalls in CH, wodurch die Wirtschaftlichkeit des Gasentgiftungsprozesses wesentlich verbessert wird, da auf diese Weise der Gesamtwärmebedarf zur gänzlichen oder teilweisen Entfernung (Umwandlung) des Kohlenoxyds aus Gasen, einschliesslich des für die Umwandlung benötigten Wasserdampfes vollständig aus der beim   Trockenlöschen   des Kokses und beim fortgesetzten   Nasslöschen   desselben entstehenden Abwärme gedeckt werden kann.

PATENT-ANSPRUCH : Verfahren zur gänzlichen oder teilweisen Entfernung (Umwandlung) des Kohlenoxyds aus Gasen (Gasentgiftung), insbesonders aus Kohlen-, Wasser-, Generatorgasen und deren Gemischen gemäss dem Patente Nr. 127737. dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an eine Trockenkühlung des glühenden Kokses bis auf etwa 400-500 , mit welcher der Wärmebedarf der Umwandlungsprozesse gedeckt wird, eine nasse Löschung in der gleichen Apparatur zur Herstellung des für die Umwandlungsprozesse erforderlichen Wasserdampfes angeschlossen wird. **WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld Kannt Anfang DESC uberlappen**.
