Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Wicklung iur Hochstrommessgeräte, Zähler u. dgl.
 EMI1.1

Winding iur high current measuring devices, counters, etc. like
 EMI1.1
Relays or the like, which are fed with strong currents.

In order to measure a function of strong currents or to control small devices with such currents, in order to enable the device to work properly, only a single turn or part of a turn is used, which is led around the magnetic core. When the exciting part of the winding passes between the two legs of the electromagnet, the power supply lines act on the excitation field in an asymmetrical manner; this effect can have a disruptive influence on the proper functioning of the device.

According to the present invention, these unfavorable effects are avoided in that the inducing line is formed from a specially designed, thick metal sheet.

An exemplary embodiment of the arrangement is shown in the accompanying drawing: FIGS. 1 and 2 show two mutually perpendicular sections through a magnet which, according to the invention, is wound from a T-shaped, cut-out, thick sheet of metal-A, B, C, D, E, F, G is equipped.

In the part of a T-shaped cutout that runs perpendicular to the crossbeam of the T, a foot H of the sheet extends from the crossbeam to the vicinity of the end of the cutout. The supply and discharge wires of the current run perpendicular to the plane of the sheet and touch them at two points 1 and 2 close to each other. The contact point 1 is near the base of the T-shaped sheet itself and the other contact point 2 near the end of the in the Out-
 EMI1.2
of the T-shaped cutout and are separated from one another by the bar H protruding into the cutout. As can be seen from FIG. 2, they carry the excitation disk designated there by D, E near their ends.

Two pairs of identical windings can be stored on the same magnetic core (in the single-phase meters with three wires and the two-phase meters with five wires).

The same arrangement can also be used to form a two-turn winding by uniting the exit point 2 of one disc with the entry point 1 of the other.
