Politiervorrichtung.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Politiervorrichtung mit durch eine biegsame Welle gedrehtem Politierballen. Sie besteht darin, dass die biegsame Welle und die Leitungen für die Zuführung der Politierflüssigkeiten nebeneinander von der Seite in das den Politierballen tragende Gehäuse eingeführt sind und der Gehäusedeckel die Einführungsstelle überragt, so dass er von oben mit der Hand erfasst werden kann. Dadurch, dass der Arbeiter so wie bei motorlosen Politierballen den Ballen unmittelbar in der Hand hält, geht das beim Politieren wichtige Gefühl trotz der mechanischen Drehung des Ballens nicht verloren.
Fig. 1 der Zeichnung zeigt die Politiervorrichtung in lotrechtem Schnitt und Fig. 2 in Draufsicht bei abgehobenem Gehäusedeckel.
Der Politierballen a ist in einer Fassung b eingespannt. Diese ist auf einer Scheibe c aufgeschraubt, die an dem in einem Kammlager p gehaltenen Achsrohr m befestigt und auf Kugeln n gelagert ist. Mit dem Zahnkranz d der Scheibe c steht ein Kegelrad e im Eingriff, das am Ende der biegsamen Welle/ befestigt ist, die von einem Elektromotor angetrieben wird, der in einer Rückentrage untergebracht sein kann. sind an zwei Rohre h, h1 angeschlossen, die die Politierflüssigkeiten über einen von aussen durch den Handgriff i verstellbaren Hahn k zum Sammelbehälter i ! führen, von wo sie dann als Flüssigkeitsgemisch durch das Achsrohr m in den Politierballen a gelangen.
Der Gehäusedeckel g ist durch eine Schraube o am Sammelbehälter I aufgeschraubt und hat die Form einer Kuppel, so dass er von den Fingern und der Handfläche gut erfasst werden kann.
Bei Benutzung der Vorrichtung wird der Elektromotor eingeschaltet und dann der Hahn k geöffnet. Der Motor versetzt die biegsame Welle t und damit das Kegelrad e, die Zahnkranzscheibe c und den Politierballen a in Drehung. Gleichzeitig gelangt das Flüssigkeitsgemisch über den Hahn k durch das Achsrohr m in den Ballen a.
