   Es ist bekannt, dass die Durchschlagsfestigkeit eines Isolationsmaterials durch Erhöhung des darauf ausgeübten Druckes gesteigert werden kann. In dieser Absicht hat man bereits ölgefüllte Hochspannungskabel an unter Druck stehende   Ölzuleitungen   angeschlossen. 



   Nach dem Vorschlag der vorliegenden Erfindung soll bei diesen Kabelanlagen die durch Temperatur beim Betrieb des Kabels hervorgerufene Ausdehnung des Öles zur Drucksteigerung ausgenutzt werden. Zu diesem Zweck werden bei ölgefüllten Kabeln die Ölzuleitungen zum Kabel mit Rückschlagventilen versehen, so dass bei der Ausdehnung des Öles infolge Temperaturerhöhung bei Belastung des Kabels die Ventile sich selbsttätig schliessen. Hiedurch wird das   Zurückfliessen   des Öles verhütet, und infolgedessen eine Drucksteigerung des im Kabel befindlichen Öles verursacht. 



   Um den in derartigen Anlagen benutzten Kabeln genügende Festigkeit gegenüber dem inneren Überdruck zu geben, wird in an sich bekannter Weise die Bewehrung aus Stahlband oder-draht unmittelbar auf dem Bleimantel, also ohne Zwischenlage von Polsterung aufgebracht. Bei Mehrleiterkabeln können in ebenfalls bekannter Weise ohne in die Zwickel zwischen den einzelnen Kabelleitern Trensen einzulegen, die Zwischenräume mit Öl ausgefüllt werden.

For this purpose, in oil-filled cables, the oil supply lines to the cable are provided with non-return valves so that the valves close automatically when the oil expands as a result of the temperature increase when the cable is loaded. This prevents the oil from flowing back and, as a result, increases the pressure of the oil in the cable.



   In order to give the cables used in such systems sufficient strength against the internal overpressure, the reinforcement made of steel tape or wire is applied in a known manner directly to the lead sheath, that is to say without an intermediate layer of padding. In the case of multi-conductor cables, the spaces between the individual cable conductors can also be filled with oil in a known manner without inserting snaffles into the gussets between the individual cable conductors.
