Device for generating rapid electrical oscillations.
In the known devices used to generate rapid electrical oscillations, in particular for medical purposes, controllable resistors, for example in the so-called voltage divider circuit, are switched on in the consumer circuits to control the high-frequency energy supplied to the consumer. It is disadvantageous that power losses occur in the controllable resistors when the device is in operation, the greater the number of oscillations of the high-frequency consumption current.
Devices for generating rapid electrical oscillations have also become known which have a controllable capacitor in their consumption circuit for regulating the high-frequency energy supplied to the consumer. The disadvantage of these known devices is that they do not offer any protection for their oscillating circuits from harmful heating in the event of little or no energy being drawn.
The new device is free of these disadvantages, with protection of its oscillation circuits from harmful heating by a ballast resistor, in which, according to the invention, capacity in the circuit of the ballast resistor and capacity in the pick-up circuit are necessarily made controllable in opposite directions.
An advantageous embodiment of the new device is shown in the figure according to its circuit arrangement.
To regulate the energy distribution to the pick-up circuit and the ballast circuit, the capacitor in the pick-up circuit, consisting of two fixed (d, e) and one movable plate set (or only one such plate) f, is used, the plate sets (plates) being arranged in such a way that that during the movement of the movable set, the capacity between the movable and one fixed set of plates changes in the opposite sense as the capacity between the movable and the other fixed set of plates. This type of capacitor is called capacitance distributor for short in the following.
The consumption current system is coupled to the excitation circuit consisting of the discharge path a, the capacitors b and the self-induction coil c. In the consumption power system, the capacity distributor is arranged in such a way that one fixed plate set (d) is connected to the tapping terminal g, the other fixed plate set (e) to the ballast lamp h and the movable plate set (f) to the self-induction coil i. By rotating the movable plate set f accordingly, the capacity of the pick-up circuit and the capacity of the ballast circuit are changed in opposite directions and, depending on the direction of rotation, more or less energy is supplied to either the pick-up terminals g, k or the ballast lamp h in the desired manner .
In some cases it can also be expedient to guide the movable part of the capacity distributor by moving it along a curve, possibly along a straight line, between its stationary parts.
