the flap 7 can be opened or closed. Flaps 4, 7 are attached to a common axis of rotation 8 so that they perform all rotations together.
The position of the flaps 4, 7 shown in the drawing shows the hot air line closed, the air outlet opening 6 open. As a result of the natural flow, air flows through the boiler room in the direction of the arrow to the outside. If, on the other hand, the fan is switched on, the flaps 4, 7 assume the position shown in broken lines, with warm air entering the line 5 in the direction of the arrow.
The weight of the flaps 4 and 7 must be balanced in such a way that when the fan stops, the weight of the flap 4, supported by the eccentric suspension and overcoming the weight of the flap 7, falls down and closes the inlet opening into the hot air duct.
In order to avoid a leaky seal, one of the locking devices shown as examples in FIGS. 2 and 3 is attached to the flaps 4 and 7 or their common axis of rotation 8.
According to Fig. 2, a pendulum 9 supporting column 10 is attached to the valve axis 8. When the flap 4 is closed, the center of gravity of the pendulum is to the left of the axis 8 and therefore has an adverse effect on the flap 4. When this flap is opened by the flow of warm air, the pendulum moves to the right of the axis 8 and thereby keeps the flap open.
According to Fig. 3, a channel 11 is seated on the axis 8, in which balls 12 can roll. The position of the balls when the safety flap is closed is shown in full, and when the flap is open it is shown in dashed lines. In the
