In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand beispielsweise dargestellt, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 eine Längsansicht, Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie A-B, wogegen Fig. 3 ein Anwendungsbeispiel eines nach der Schablone ausgeschnittenen Fussteiles an einer Strumpflänge veranschaulicht.
Die verstellbare Schablone besteht gemäss der Erfindung in der Hauptsache aus zwei aneinander verschiebbaren Platten 1 und 2, die nach einer auf der Platte 1 angeordneten Skala 3 einstellbar sind.
Die Einstellbarkeit wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Platte 1 einen Schlitz 4 besitzt, neben dem die Skala 3 angebracht ist, wogegen die Platte 2 mit zwei Ösennieten 5 den Schlitz durchsetzt und durch eine mit den Osennieten verbundene Führungsleiste 6 verschiebbar gehalten wird.
An den unteren Kanten 7 verlaufen die beiden Platten 1 und 2 völlig gerade, dahingegen sind die oberen Kanten 8, die Fussspitze 9 und die Ferse 10 als Kurven ausgebildet. Ausserdem besitzt noch der die Ferse 10 bildende Teil eine pfeilförmige Ausnehmung 11.
Mit einer derartig ausgestalteten Schablone ist es nun möglieh, nach Einstellung der Skala 3 für die benötigte Fusslänge ein zum Reparieren eines Strumpfes dienendes Fussteil aus einem beliebigen Stoff ausschneiden zu können.
Zu diesem Zweck wird der Stoff gefaltet, die gerade Kante 7 der Schablone auf den Stoffbruch aufgelegt und ein Stoffteil nach den Kurvenlinien ausgeschnitten. Dieses zugeschnittene Stoffteil wird dann für die Fussspitze 9 und an den Rändern der pfeilförmigen Ausnehmungen 11 zusammengenäht, wodurch das Fussteil unten und hinter der Ferse ohne Naht gebildet wird. Mit den oberen Kurven des Fussstückes und der nach oben gelangten hinteren Fersenkurve wird dann das Fussteil mit der entsprechend zugeschnittenen Strumpflänge 1'3 vernäht.

This cut piece of fabric is then sewn together for the tip of the foot 9 and at the edges of the arrow-shaped recesses 11, as a result of which the foot part is formed without a seam below and behind the heel. With the upper curves of the foot piece and the rear heel curve that has come up, the foot section is then sewn with the correspondingly cut stocking length 1'3.
