Control aid for securing vehicles, especially motor vehicles, against accidents caused by non-compliance with the driving rules.
The purpose of the invention is to secure vehicles, in particular motor vehicles, against accidents caused by non-compliance with the driving order when changing the direction of travel.
There is no need. to explain the risk of danger when changing traditional driving directions, so that the advisability of securing in this respect is self-evident.
The present invention consists in the attachment of a continuously shining traffic triangle, visible both to the front and to the rear, above one of the two headlights, attached to the headlight supports. The constant glow occurs during the day through the rays of daylight falling on the reflective parts of the luminous triangle. In the dark, the triangle is illuminated by an incandescent lamp connected in parallel with the rest of the electrical lighting system.
With this light triangle, the driver, who always has it in front of him, is constantly reminded of the side to be observed with regard to the change in direction of travel that has taken place, and at the moment of danger required when heightened presence of mind, he is prompted to dodge to the right side.
But the oncoming driver also sees the light triangle approaching him and is reminded to steer his car to the right side due to its asymmetrical attachment to the car or to the headlights indicating the limits of this car.
Finally, all other road users, drivers and pedestrians, even when the vehicle is stationary, are constantly made aware of the change in direction of travel, which prevents road accidents of all kinds.
