Stromzuführl g fibr elektlische Schienenbahnen VOII Holzbaukasten.
EMI1.1

Stromzuführl g for electrical railways VOII wooden construction kit.
EMI1.1
The subject of the invention is a power supply for electric rail tracks made of wooden construction kit, the essential characteristic of which is that a conductive covering is connected to the wooden rails.
The drawing represents an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention,
EMI1.2
illustrates a top view of the track, FIG. 4 shows a cross section of the track at the junction of two electrically conductive surfaces. 5, 6 and 7 show different embodiments of spreaders, FIGS. 8 and 9 show two embodiments of the line linings, FIG. 10 a variant of the lining jamming.
According to FIGS. 1-3, the thresholds 1 are grooved, u. Zw. Preferably in such a way that the wooden rails 2 fit smoothly into these grooves. According to the invention, the wooden rails are provided with an electrically conductive covering. According to a special embodiment of the invention, this covering can by a
Metal spraying can be applied to the wooden rails or it is the conductive coating that z. B. consists of a Bleehwinkelprofil 3 (Fig. 8) or a U-shaped profile 3a (Fig. 9), easily detachably clamped to the rails.
These profile sheets are applied in such a way that one profile wing m forms the metallic, electrically conductive running surface for the wheels, while the other wing n (with the U-profile the other two wings n) rests against the side surface of the rail. This conductive covering J or .. a is clamped to the rails 2 by spreading 4, which according to FIG. 5 can be designed as wooden sticks, according to FIG. G as flat wooden plates, according to FIG. 7 as leaf springs and the length of which in any case corresponds to the track width is adapted that by inserting the spreaders between the rails of a
Both electrically conductive coverings are pressed against their rails.
The
The rails themselves are pressed against the outer edges of the slots in the wooden sleepers by the spreaders and so sit firmly in the sleepers under all circumstances, even if they should have some play in the slots. It is particularly advantageous if the spreaders are introduced in the area of the sleepers 1, but they can also be introduced, in particular, in curves between the sleepers, as indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 3.
According to FIG. 4, the rails are conductively bridged at the joint by laying the line coverings 3, 3 on top of one another, as indicated at S.
The power supply from the rail to the engine of the vehicle is provided by a conductive coating on the wheels of the vehicle. Likewise, instead of the current coating on the vehicle wheels, a contact finger, a contact spring or the like, which is attached to the vehicle and slides on the current coating of the rails, can be provided.
According to FIG. 10, the line covering is clamped to its rail by lyre-shaped, resilient clips K, the dimensions of which only need to be adapted to the profile of the wooden rail, but are independent of the track width.
