Verfahren zur Entlüftung von Kreiselpumpen mittels eines Strahlsaugers.
Es ist bekannt, Saugräume und Saugleitungen von Kreiselpumpen mittels Strahlsauger zu entlüften. Bis jetzt wurden diese Strahlsauger u. a. durch die Auspuffgase von Brennkiaftmaschinen betrieben ; insbesondere im Feuerlösehbetrieb wird hiezu stets die die Kreiselpumpe treibende Kraftmaschine ausgenützt.
Diese Art ; der Entlüftung wurde meist bei Brennkraftmaschinen, die im Viertakt arbeiten, angewendet, wogegen sich bei Zweitaktmasehinen nicht so günstige Erfolge erzielen liessen ; die erzielten Saughohen waren bedeutend geringer.
Durch Versuche wurde festgestellt, dass zur Entlüftung von Saugr1\umen und Saugleitungen von Kreiselpumpen, die durch eine Zweitaktbrennkraftmaschine betrieben werden, Strahlsauger nur dann zufriedenstellend angewendet werden können, wenn zum Betriebe des Strahlsaugers nicht die Auspuff-

It is known to vent the suction chambers and suction lines of centrifugal pumps using ejectors. Until now, these ejectors were u. a. powered by the exhaust of fuel machines; For this purpose, the engine driving the centrifugal pump is always used, particularly in fire-releasing operation.
This kind ; the venting was mostly used in internal combustion engines that work in four-stroke, whereas in two-stroke engines, not so favorable results could be achieved; the suction heights achieved were significantly lower.
Tests have shown that ejectors can only be used satisfactorily for venting suction areas and suction lines of centrifugal pumps that are operated by a two-stroke internal combustion engine if the exhaust system is not used to operate the ejector.
