Die Erfindung betrifft einen Löscher mit elliptischer Hohlwalze aus Papier, welche den Träger für das Löschpapier bildet.
Nach der Erfindung wird dieser Tragkörper dadurch hergestellt, dass man um einen Kern von geeigneter Form Papier in mehreren Lagen wickelt, die zusammengepresst und allenfalls auch zusammengeleimt werden, so dass die gewickelten Lagen einen verhältnismässig steifen Pappkörper bilden. Um diesen wickelt man dann in bekannter Weise Löschpapier in beliebig vielen Lagen und kann Leim auf jede Lage an den Enden der Ellipse streichen. Nach dem Entfernen des Kernes wird der Körper mit den Löschpapieren in so breite Stücke geschnitten, dass diese den jeweilig herzustellenden Löchern entsprechen. Auf diese Weise kann eine grosse Menge Löscher gleichzeitig aus ganzen Papierbogen hergestellt werden, und der Löschen hat den Vorteil, dass er sehr elastisch ist, weil sein Körper aus einem zusammenhängenden Pappestück ohne Fugen besteht.
Wenn die äusserste Lage der Löschers benutzt worden ist, wird sie abgerissen. Die Leimung an den Enden der Löschpapierlagen verhindert ein Abwickeln derselben.
Damit die Seite des Löschers, welche mit der Hand in Berührung kommt, nicht beschmutzt werde, kann auf dieser Seite eine besondere, aus Pappe, Zelluloid od. dgl. bestehende Platte angebracht werden, welche dieselbe Form und Wölbung wie die obere Fläche des Löschers besitzt. Diese Platte ist entweder abnehmbar angebracht oder z. B. mittels eines Gummibandes od. dgl. befestigt, welches die Platte gegen die Fläche presst, jedoch nach Bedarf die Verschiebung derselben auf die entgegengesetzte Seite des Löschers gestattet. Die Seitenränder der Platte können auch reehtwinkelig umgebogen werden, so dass sie die Löschpapiedage seitlich umfassen.
Die Zeichnung zeigt ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Löschers gemäss der Erfindung in schaubildlicher Darstellung. Es bezeichnet 1 den Tragkörper des Löschers und 2 die um ihn gewickelten Loschpapier- lagen. An den Enden 3 und 4 des Löschers sind die Löschpapierlagen aneinandergeleimt. Die Schutzplatte 5 ist auf dem Löseher entweder abnehmbar angebracht, z. B. mittels einer Klammer angeklemmt oder z. B. mittels des Gummibandes 6 festgehalten, das durch den Innenraum des Lösahkörpers hindurchgeht und dessen Enden auf geeignete Weise an den beiden Kanten der Schutzplatte befestigt sind.
