Grab the caps and lie in the recesses 13. As can be seen, when assembling the motor, the side plates 14 can be placed tightly against the side plates of the magnet frame and the end caps can be pushed over the magnet frame and the side plates 14. The side plates are thus held securely in place without the use of fastening screws. In this way, the outer width of the motor remains as small as possible while it is completely isolated from the outside.
The conventionally built armature 16 rotates in bearing bushings 17 which are inserted into the end caps. The end cap 7 is provided with tubes 18 for the brushes 19: these are pressed onto the commutator 20 with brush springs 21, behind which there are tail screws 22 formed from the same material as the end caps. Oil vessels 23 are provided in order to lubricate the armature shaft 24.
On the shaft 24 there is one made of the same insulating material as the end caps. molded pulley 25 is fixed by means of a set screw 26 which is screwed into the shaft 24.
A fan 27 mounted on the shaft 24 draws air into the motor through the ventilation openings 28 in the end cap 7 and blows it out through the ventilation openings 29 of the end cap.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Electric motor, in particular for sewing machines and other small machines with laminated, on the opposite sides flattened magnetic frame, characterized in that the Endka pen attached to the magnetic frame, made of molded heat-resistant insulating material have flanges (10) which extend over the outer parts of the Magnet frame (1) extend and completely cover them, and that flat sheets (14) of insulating material, which cover the flat sides of the magnet frame, are dovetailed with their upper and lower edges in the flanges (10) of the end caps.
