Counterweight suspension for rotating sliding windows.
Counterweight arrangements for rotating sliding windows, in which both sides of the window sash are connected by wire ropes to a counterweight, which exerts an even tension on both ropes, but is set up so that it is completely supported by the other when one wire rope is released, are known. The invention relates to a new type of suspension of the weights with such double weight compensation and consists in that a metal block hangs between the rope ends, on which a rod rigidly connected to the weight is suspended within a recess of the metal block in such a way that large deflections of the weight can be prevented by the edges of the recess.
The subject matter of the invention is shown in Fig. 1 in section and in Fig. 2 in plan view.
An arm 2 that is rigidly connected to the weight 1 is suspended from a metal block 3 by means of a screw bolt 4. The suspension takes place in a recess 5 of the block, so that the pull of the weight falls approximately in the center line of the block and the two edges of the recess
Allow limited pendulum weight. The recess 5 can have the same width above and below, but it can also widen downwards. The two ends of the wire rope are at the ends of the
Block 3 fastened with Elemmplatten 7. They are therefore placed around the fastening screws 8.
