Description

Lighting fixtures.
The invention relates to a lighting fixture, in particular for incandescent lamps, which has two opal shades, of which the upper part of the inner shade located in the outer shade is transparent, whereby the reflective effect is increased and therefore the lighting effect of the lamp is increased.
In the drawing, a lighting fixture designed according to the invention is illustrated, for example, in a partially sectioned side view.
In the foot part of the lintel surrounding the glow lamp socket 2. 3 the screws 4 for fastening the screen 5 are provided. The screen 5 has a cylindrical or more pear-shaped shape and is also open at the bottom. On this inner screen rests a flat conical screen 6, which with its upwardly directed inner edge 7 engages in the foot part 1 as fittingly as possible and is held down by a flange 8 of the same so that it is secured against displacement on all sides.
The upper part 9 of the inner screen 5, which is located approximately inside the outer screen 6, is light-colored, i. H. transparent, whereas the rest of it is opal or matt. The inner surface of the outer screen 6 is completely opal.
The light rays also reach the reflective inner surface of the outer screen 6 through the bright screen part 9, whereby the reflective effect of the lamp is increased and consequently the brightness of the illumination is increased.
