Loading device for shaft furnaces of all kinds.
The present invention relates to a loading device for shaft furnaces of all types, e.g. B. for blast furnaces, late roasting furnaces, lime and dolomite furnaces, etc. It aims to distribute the charge material as evenly as possible over the entire area of the furnace cross-section, namely the correct distribution against the furnace wall and furnace center.
The known loading devices meet these requirements only imperfectly; either the fed material falls onto a centrally arranged cone and from there only against the outer wall and thus forms a funnel in the furnace; or it is poured into a funnel-shaped gutter and guided by this towards the middle of the furnace, forming a cone in the furnace. The known charging devices with rotatable helical channels only aim at a more regular distribution around the circumference, but also accumulate the material at the edge of the furnace. Finally, rotatable distribution members are also known which direct the charge partly towards the middle of the furnace and partly towards the wall, but are fed centrally.
In contrast, the loading device according to the present invention distributes the material by means of a helically arranged, around or with an axis 1 rotatable channel 2 on the edge of a roof-shaped ring 3 arranged below, from where it is partly towards the center. partly slides against the outer wall.
Due to the rotatable arrangement of this vaulted channel, it can be coated and thus also

can be done either by motor power or by the weight of the load itself. In the latter case, the material runs into a paddle wheel 4.This is set in rotation by its weight and transfers the rotation with angular wheels 5 to the central axis 1 of the screw channel 2. From the paddle wheel 4, the material runs directly into the very screw channel 2 and lets it rotate and loading take place almost simultaneously, achieve even distribution. The entire device can be arranged completely gas-tight by a jacket 6.
In this case, an inlet channel 7 with an automatically closing flap 8 feeds the feed material to the paddle wheel 4.
The present loading device works automatically in the following way: The ore bucket jfss or ore wagon lifted with a walking elevator of known type 9 is emptied into the inlet channel 7 by a tilting device that is also already known. After opening the automatic flap 8, the feed material runs into the paddle wheel 4, weights its chamber and thus brings it to

carry and rotate the latter; the feed slides through the channel 2 onto the edge of the roof-shaped distribution ring. 3 and is scattered by him partly against the furnace wall and partly against the middle of the furnace.
This automatic charging system eliminates the need to use workers to fill the furnace on the furnace, thus eliminating the dangers and damage to health that the previous method of feeding brought with it. The operation of the elevator machine is sufficient for the operation of the automatic Besehiekungsanlage.
